Petri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drain Cleaning

I have been using Petri Plumbing for years and have been quite happy with their service. My most recent service call involved a back-up in the bathroom tub whenever the kitchen sink was used. Petri dispatched William, who had to snake out the 100 year-old spagetti-network of pipes to reach the obstruction. He then made sure that everything was clear and flowing normally before wrapping up, and even cleaned the tub before he left. Not the most complicated job I have ever hired Petri for, but it required far more patience than I could muster.

Used Petri when had a disgusting mess backing up from my kitchen drains into my bathtub. Was nervous as I had completely renovated the bathroom 9 months ago and didn’t want anyone creating any damage in trying to clean out the drain. But the service man was very professional and careful. He was also thorough, re-testing everything several times before determine issue was fixed. Problem resolved and bathroom was left in same clean state as before he came.

Steven Berger was excellent with our AC repair last summer and the maintenance this Spring. We have a small duct high velocity central AC unit that is pretty rare in Bay Ridge. Steven knew all the ins and outs of it and was exceptional to work with. He is an asset to Petri Plumbing and was the most knowledgeable person that we have ever had work on our system. Let's face it: nobody wants to have to call a plumber -- but if you have to, call Petri. They did a massive boiler repair/replacement project for me in the past (no issues passing inspection). Since then, I've called for toilet repairs and, most recently, for a shower replacement. Calling a handyman may be a quick fix in the short-run, but I don't want to have to pay for the same work in the long-run. Go with the pros. Also, it matters that their entire team -- from the lovely women who answer the phones and deal with payments (Jeanine and Ashley) to the guys who did the site work (Michael, Serj, Chris and others) -- are super nice and very professional!

Our a/c annual check-up went smoothly. I am always impressed by how responsive and professional Petri Plumbing is when I speak with them. The technician, Michael, was prompt, polite, and professional.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Petri to install a heat pump system in my home to replace my old steam heating system, and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience.

Firstly, I want to commend the excellent project management skills of HVAC manager Mike, who oversaw the entire installation process with great expertise. His team (Emmanuel, Greg) were incredibly hardworking and efficient, and I was amazed at how well they managed to keep my home clean throughout the installation. They were very dedicated so our project was completed on time.

I was also very impressed by the plumbing team led by Serhiy. They worked tirelessly to keep my old heating system running smoothly while the heat pump installation was in progress. They were true professionals and ensured that everything was working properly before they left.

The great customer care provided by the management team, especially Chris, was also noteworthy. He answered all of my inquiries in a timely manner and was always ready to help in any way he could. The entire customer service team was responsive and helpful, making the whole process stress-free and enjoyable.

Everyone in Petri is incredibly polite and professional, and it was a pleasure to work with them. While price may not be their main selling point, their professional quality of work and commitment make them the clear choice for anyone looking for peace of mind and excellent service.

We had a great experience working with the team at Petri, Mike was a consummate professional throughout and gave us great input and expertise in how to execute our project.

Flames were coming out of our hot water heater. The plumber identified the problem and spent a while putting in replacement parts and tested the system to be sure things were safe.
