I am really surprised at the numerous positive reviews on customer service. I went in just to get a can of paint and could not get anyone to help me out, despite asking one of the people with an "ask me for help" shirt who told me he wasn't able to help, who then called for someone to come help and no one came. The only helpful person in the store was the paint mixer, hidden away on the opposite side of the store from the paint cans, and it was some effort to even find him. (He's the only reason I came up to 3 stars). I shared this all with the manager, who did not bother to apologize or even explain. I will not be shopping there again for anything.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here right before the sukkot holiday, which is usually an extremely busy and notoriously bad time to go to the hardware store. This experience was not what I was expecting at all. I had a few bundles of bamboo delivered to our house it arrived early the next morning exactly as I ordered it. I Later decided to exchange everything they delivered for a larger size. I called ahead they set it all aside in the parking lot for me, I was assisted by Aaron who processed the return immediately, and had the warehouse guys switch out all of my returned bamboo for the larger size, it was extremely efficient and well organized. The guys even made sure it all fit in the trunk. They were great!

Located on Nostrand Avenue between Avenues H & I, this store is ideal for hardware, cleaning, and home supplies. Their prices are reasonable and their staff are helpful. Accessible via B44 local and select buses, B41 & B103 buses along with the 2 & 5 trains [at Nostrand and Flatbush Avenues]. Not far from Target, Aldi's, and Key Food.

A true neighborhood hardware store. Seasonal items serving local needs, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, competitive pricing.

Edit: since their expansion I’ve had to downgrade my rating from 5 to 3 stars. The layout is confusing, staff less available on the floor. There are two locations for checking out, I’ve been chastised at each one for using the wrong location.. why and when the correct checkout location changed is a mystery.

On the plus side, the parking lot is no longer a death defying nightmare.

Customer service is poor I had to walk 3-4 isles to find someone to answer my queries. I was 8 ft. away shouting, "excuse me" to get attention before the person at one of the desk turned around to address me.
They weren't very helpful in offering additional information.Workers lack knowledge on where items are located as well as the items that the store carries.

Great local store that has everything and the staff is really helpful. Also has a parking lot.

This is the worst Ace I have ever been to. They are extremely unhelpful and act like they did not want my business. There is a manager/ employee named Yiddle there who refuses to help costumers. I have been here twice on different days and different times and he refused to come out. This guy apparently is the only guy in the store that does remote car keys.

I rather go to home depot which is 15 min further.

Great selection of products at good prices. A lot of seasonal specials.

Great store. Great selection, helpful employees. I like stores like this better than massive Home Depots and Lowe's where nobody knows what's flying and you get lost. (This is far from a tiny hole in the wall store, though... They have a GREAT selection.)
