I reached out to 212 because I got some recommendations from a parents group I am a part of, raving about their quality and service. I was having issues with our AC since I bought my apartment last year. A different company came out, and changed us for refilling the coolant, but didnt bother to check if there was a leak, so of course the coolant leaked out, and that was $1500 down the drain.

When I contacted 212, they were able to come out and diagnose the issue. Throughout I felt they were being honest and professional. They were responsive by Phone and email, and arrived to the job on time. They are a bit pricey, but it would have been less if I contacted the pros the first time. It’s definitely worth knowing the job is getting done right the first time. They were able to offer us a small discount, which really helped us to afford the repairs. Sergey, our technician was incredibly professional, honest and friendly. I would use them again, but I hope I wont need to.

My HVAC broke right before family was coming to stay with us during a heatwave. 212 was able to come out and fix the issue super quick and get our AC running again before my family arrived. They are very professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them for HVAC work.

They were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable, flexible and even creative in getting the project done. I’m entirely satisfied and I highly recommend this company for work on central air conditioning systems in NYC!

Alex from 212 HVAC was knowledgeable and through, and quickly took care of the issue I was having with my mini-splits that had been caused by a bad install job done by someone else. Also, was able to fit me into their schedule very quickly.
I will be calling them the next time I have any HVAC issues, and I would highly recommend them.

Overall, my experience with the 212 Team (even though it's a day removed) has been great. The follow-ups (from Max) ever since the first inquiry (over the weekend and afterwork hours) was top notch. Then Max getting the go ahead to move my request (for an appointment) up due to timing becoming available between appointments....this team is on a roll.
Nikita got to our place, early (can't complain about that), was able to diagnosis and solve the issue within 30/45mins. He was professional and very detailed, I am extremely happy with my experience!

212 HVAC did a fabulous job repairing our HVAC - from start to finish they were extremely professional, helped in an emergency situation and properly explained to me what was wrong and how it needed to be fixed. They were able to come back quickly with a new part and properly fix our system. I would recommend 212 HVAC anytime, I was very impressed by their service.

As a first note, 212 HVAC is the same as Top HVAC NYC, but the latter does not answer the phone. Secondly, I reached 212 HVAC promptly and managed to schedule an appointment easily to diagnose an air handler blowing hot air (very difficult in NYC in June). I was told the diagnosis appointment would cost $149. Once the tech arrived and I showed him my air handler and condenser on the roof, he told me only the first hour of diagnosis is included in the $149 and additional time would be billed at $279, without increments (i.e. an additional 15 minutes would be billed as an hour). There is no mention of this on their website and it did not come up in my scheduling conversation. Finally, my diagnosis took 1 3/4 hours and I was billed at the stated rate. The diagnosis required a lengthy call with the manufacturer - the fix was to switch on the heat to unstick an expansion valve. Seems to work now - may need a new expansion valve in the future.

Initially, I was going to give 3 stars due to pricing, but the promptness, service and fix were fine, so I am giving 4. I was told that diagnoses involving the manufacturer can involve being on hold for an hour or more, for which you will be charged - buyer beware...

212HVAC came to my apartment one day after I called with my HVAC problem. They evaluated it and determined my unit needed parts and sent me an estimate. I agreed to their estimate. They promptly ordered the parts I needed. There was a 2 to 3 week estimated delivery of those parts. Less than 3 weeks from the time of the estimate the parts arrived and they scheduled a service call with me. They were on time, very professional, a pleasure to do business with.

Nick was on time and incredibly polite. He must have done good work - I immediately noticed my vents working better! Kept my living space clean as he worked. Would use 212 HVAC again.
