Insight Mechanical

This company takes advantage of single women by wasting time, dragging their feet, and not addressing the problem. They assume women don't know anything technical. Ugh! The technician wasted 1.5 hours trying to install a new thermostat, tapping it, changing the batteries multiple times, staring at it. Then he proclaimed it was malfunctioning. It was their thermostat yet I was charged for his time and got nothing. All of my friends have similar stories about companies in Santa Fe. Women need to unite and stand up against these predators. I'm reporting every one that I've encountered.

My experience with Insight Mechanical was great. Our 22-year-old boiler was giving us some problems and we needed a bid on replacing it with an up-to-date tankless combo unit that would heat our domestic water and run our radiant heating system.
I called Insight Mechanical on a Thursday and explained our issue, they sent out an employee the following day to diagnose our needs and to give us a bid.
The day before the job, Marc came out to look over the job and be sure he had all the necessary materials. Tuesday, Marc and Aldo started the demo on the old system; they finished up that day and we had no hot water that night but just cold water, no problem. The following day the new Bosch tankless combo unit was installed and the replumbing took shape. Still more work to be done at the end of day two - we had hot water for bathing and other uses. Day 3 Marc arrived and completed the plumbing that was required so that our radiant heating would work.
This job was done on par with the high standards of a true professional journeyman, pipes neatly installed and wiring neatly run. I posted on FB the before and after pictures. Our highest respect to Marc, Aldo and Pete for their high standards in construction.
