I usually don't take time to write a review, but I wanted to stop and tell everyone how wonderful Duke City Heating and Cooling is. From the initial phone call to Gloria to the service from Jason and Jamie we couldn't be more pleased. Being a new homeowner, we were not sure about the maintenance. Jason showed me what to look for and how to take an active part in keeping the system in good shape. The price was WOW! The gentlemen were so kind and thoughtful. What a pleasure. Thank you so much, we will call you again.

Our heater was not blowing hot air. Duke City was able to get us an appointment for the very next day. The technicians Jason and Jamie we very polite, courteous and knowledgeable. They quickly figured out the problem and went above and beyond to correct it. I will be using them and recommending them for all of heating and cooling needs.

I called and had Duke City out over a month ago. I live in a rental and gave them ALL of my landlord's info when I set up the service call.

Just this morning, they called ME to "collect on an outstanding invoice." For ONE, they did NOT repair the heater. Apparently all they did was install a filter (in a non functioning furnace) and bill me over $100. They managed to "lose" all of my landlord's info, and considering my landlord called them several times and never received a call back, we simply assumed they hadn't charged, since they didn't fix it, or even give a diagnosis, or quote to fix it.

I fixed it myself last week by installing a new control module for less than the cost of this invoice.

Don't waste your time with this incredibly unprofessional business.

Great from start to finish. I had a rusted out Mastercool that needed to be replaced. Mike came out to give me a quote. (I had quotes done by other companies as well.) Since I was thinking about buying the cooler myself from Samon's, he did the quote with and without the cost of the unit. Duke City's pricing was very fair compared to other contractors that came out to give me a quote. Mike was very professional and very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and even answered my phone call on a weekend. (After realizing it was his day off I told him I'd call back Monday.) Duke City just seemed to have a better approach overall so I decided to have them do the work. I purchased my own AC which they picked up for me for a discounted fee. The installation went smooth with no problems at all. I bought a thermostat to run the AC and they even put that on for me no extra charge. The guys that came out were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and took care to save anything I might need later on. It was even easy to call in and pay over the phone. All of this was perfectly timed. Today was the first day of the year the temp will reach the 80's. Highly recommended!!

If we could give 100 stars we would! Every part of our experience, from the estimate to clean up was first rate! The crew who came to install both of our units were friendly, clean, & professional. The value of what we got for the price we paid was great! All around we were very happy and would highly recommend Duke City, and will continue to use them for maintenence.

Excellent customer service! From the moment they answer the phone you will notice the difference. Local, family-owned and operated Duke City Heating and Cooling is professional and knowledgeable. They are fair and honest and got my furnace running in no time. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, locate the parts and returned promptly to make the repair. I would highly recommend for all your heating and cooling needs!

Duke city came out to in May 2020 to turn off my heater and turn on my AC. I made the mistake of not being there and instead left my 20 year old daughter to handle paying the bill. They told her that they needed to fix the hoses in the unit even though it was brand new (house was purchased in 2019 and unit was installed earlier that year brand new.) Bill was paid in full even though they broke one of our gutters (they did send someone out to fix it weeks later after I had to call and remind them) and a week later we had to call them back out because the AC unit was leaking water and even came through our roof and damaged a light fixture in our bathroom and warped the ceiling as well. When they came to fix it they said that a hose had broke off and damaged the motor and they would replace it. The team that replaced the motor left without letting my daughter know and didn’t come back in to turn on the water for the AC unit so it only blew hot air until we had TLC come out and turn it on. Although they fixed the problem that they themselves caused they had the audacity to charge me still for their own negligence. The hoses didn’t need to be replaced - they were still new! I also had to go through another HVAC company and pay them to fix the fact nobody ever came back in to turn on the water. Now they have someone harassing me at my work and my cell phone threatening legal action because of an unpaid bill. They damaged my house and didn’t even care and now they’re trying to charge me for something they did. Avoid at all costs!!!

I'm so glad I contacted Duke City Heating and Cooling to install my refrigerated air conditioning. Gloria kept me informed of the date and time of my installation. Adrian and his crew were so professional and took pride in their work. You can always tell a good team by how they interact with each other. Jason kept telling me through out the installation, "you are going to love this." I can't believe how much of a difference this system has made in our home's comfort during the hot days. Adrian answered all my questions and provided information on everything I need to know about the system. I will be using Duke City Heating and Cooling for my all my future needs in electrical and plumbing needs as well. One stop shopping.

I highly recommended Duke City Heating and Cooling, these guys are very knowledgeable, and explain every detail of the work they are doing. Our house being older, we were not equipped with the new modern electrical systems. Jake and Louie updated our electical system, so we could install our new cooling system. Mike, the entire staff at Duke City completed the work quickly and efficiently. I definitely would give these guys a “10”!

I'm so happy, and not surprised, to see how well Duke City is doing. I used their service about 9 years ago (when I owned a home), and have never forgotten them - their professionalism, honesty, and fair pricing. Seems like, from the reviews, they are the same. I just recommended them to a friend.
