Long Lane Home Services

The techs which have come to our home have been kind and professional but the dispatch is awful. They have been rude and curt on multiple occasions and I've also had to routinely follow-up to get on the schedule after submitting a request through our 2-10 home warranty. Just recently, I was scheduled for someone to fix our pipe issue after misdiagnosing the problem initially, they were supposed to come out today and we changed our schedule to accommodate. This was scheduled a week+ in advance. They just called saying the parts came in today despite us being told the fix was happening today and now we have to wait even longer for someone to remedy the job. She claims she "doesn't know what happened" yet these issues seem to happen frequently.

Only needed a heating element replaced. Cost to come out was $129, part cost $87, labor fee to install, an additional $110. None of this was prorated. It took the service tech only 15 minutes to diagnose and replace part. None of the $129 fee went towards the labor. Long Lane is no more than 4 miles from my house. Total bill just to replace heating elements was $349. Totally unreasonable. No negotiations. This is a rip off. Even car dealers don't overcharge like this.

For the first call with the woman who scheduled my service through the actual install 5 stars. They did in one fast appointment what 2 other contractors drug out for months. The tech was polite and explained the new appliance. He even gave me general maintenance tips. Above and beyond professionalism.

They replaced my outside ac unit. Very nice people, and professional. The gentleman gave me a written estimate, breaking it down to the exact cost. Outstanding service, and no issues with the new unit. When the older indoor part dies, I will be sure to call them. I highly recommend.

So far, timely, professional and knowledgeable! I have a Bluestar range and hood and was originally assigned a vendor near me, but had a lot of issues with their knowledge and professional manner, so I requested a new vendor. Long Lane has been top notch so far! Very knowledgeable about Bluestar products and are extremely professional. Very happy with them!

If I could give 6 stars I would. I have used Long Lane several times for different services. Each time, their employees have been top notch. We had a hot water heater and dishwasher delivered, installed and old appliances removed yesterday. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working and all around great guys. I will definitely use Long Lane again and highly recommend.

Long Lane home services is a very nice place to get all your appliances washers dryers stoves dishwashers and so on The staff is very courteous and kind and very helpful and answering any and all of your questions I would recommend them to any body if you are looking for household appliances

I would highly recommend Long Lane Home Services for anyone who needs a contractor to come out and install appliances into your home. The receptionists were friendly over the phone and scheduled us within 2 days of calling. Our contractor was Mario, and he was on time, very friendly, and did an excellent job installing our new dishwasher. He cleaned everything up beautifully and took our old dishwasher as well. Thank you so much!

This was the second time I have had the pleasure of using Long Lane due to my home warranty. Each time I met a super helpful employee. Today, I worked with Mario. He came in, diagnosed the issue quickly, and was a pleasure to work with. I have nothing but positive things to say about Long Lane and especially Mario. I was able to make an appointment very quickly and they are always prompt and on time. I would choose this company again, and recommend them to friends and family.

Bill the service technician just repaired my dryer and did a fantastic job. Bill diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. He had to order parts and called me with the total cost of the repair just like he said he would. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He fixed my dryer in about 15 minutes. Bill is fast and reliable . Bill will even give you his professional opinion weather it is worth it to repair your appliance. Bill is experienced and he can tell you the history of a make and model and weather you should repair or replace your appliance. The owner of Long Lane is also Bill. My mother, Carmella Lerro has been a customer of Long Lane for probably over 30 years. Bill was always good to my mom. I will never forget that. Bill has continually provided great service over many years as far back when Long Lane was located in Delaware County. I can trust Long Lane.
