    I called GRC and reported the dilemma with my Generator on a day when a major snowstorm was predicted. I called early evening and other companies that I called prior were unavailable and many didn't service the Generac brand. GRC Mechanical answered my call and immediately assigned my case to a service person and assured me that my Generator would be fully operational that day. Well within a couple of hours a serviceman was at my house and fixed the generator. I was ready for the storm and am so grateful to this company for providing prompt quality service and prioritizing customer concerns and satisfaction. Thanks GRC! Would highly recommend to anyone with a Generator!

    I had a steam boiler replaced last year. It was making a horrible banging noise Three plumbers tried to fix it. John was able to solve the problem immediately . I highly recommend. GRC. They are professional, arrive on time, and are perfectionists . I was pleased with the job they did and paid them in full. However John was not pleased with the way the radiators were heating and came back and fixed it to his satisfaction. No charge. I don't know of any other plumbers that would do that.

    GRC folks are knowledgeable in how heating and air conditioning systems work. They have both done excellent work on my home heating system and will start on setting up my OLD A/C system next week for the summer season. They have also been caring for our church HVAC systems in Paramus for many years with excellent results including the installation of one new combined system within one week.

    I was in need to get my furnace looked at today before the holiday week began since I can not take off of work very easily. They were VERY accommodating knowing my situation stating they had one guy that was a head of schedule and could possibly get to my house when I got out work early today, the tech guy Tim was fantastic(very nice, respectful, informative, knew what he was doing), the lady I spoke to on the phone even with my attitude due to my stress I give her lots of credit very sweet through the whole thing kudos to her I am not easy to deal with when I get into my stressed out mood I wish I remembered her name she deserves a raise Haha over all experience with this company 5 stars from the beginning to the end nothing but a good group of people and I am happy to know I have them to use again when or if I ever need to

    GRC customer service is amazing. I called yesterday as one of my HVAC units was acting up. In less than 30 minutes they were on my roof and in about an hour or so had my unit running perfectly. I can't thank them enough!

    From Margo, who schedule our appointment within the same day, to Randy the technician that looked after our Trane commercial grade HVAC units, GRC Mechanical Services displays professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail, willingness to problem solve- all at reasonable rates. We were looking for NATE certified technicians to make sure our Trane units were diagnosed and repaired by the highest possible standards. Randy provided just that, expertly solving a water leak in one unit and a high pressure lockout on the other. Along the way Randy shared with us valuable information, which only reinforces GRC’s commitment to help their clients. We will be relying on GRC from now on for all our HVAC needs and will actively recommend them to all our neighbors!!

    Fantastic service and just as important, excellent communication. We recently purchased a house with central air, and of course during the hottest period in August 2018, the AC stopped working. The Trane unit is only a year old and should be under warranty, but attempting to track down that warranty through the former owners, original installer, and Trane led to a dead end. After doing my typical search through Angie's List & HomeAdvisor, I came across GRC Mechanical. Joe promptly called me & set up an appointment to diagnose the issue. It turned out the Trane unit had a bad TXV (thermal expansion valve). It was actually a manufacturer's defect, but Trane refused to honor it. At the end of our rope due to the house consistently holding at 82-84 degrees indoors, I told Joe to order the part. In 3 days they were back, installing it and getting our AC running again. They were great and I would absolutely hire again.

    The serviceman came the same day I called to check my 15 year old rooftop a/c/heat. Heat exchanger failed and parts were special ordered. The servicemen came back later that week and repaired the unit. Unit ran fine all winter. Very happy with the way the company runs their business. Would use them again and reccomend them highly.

    Once upon a time I made a mistake: It was less than 3 years ago & I didn't buy my hot water heater from GRC mechanical: I bought it from PSEG. On Mon. 1/21/19, I called PSEG to report no hot water & a leaking hot water tank. That was a holiday so they were short staffed; couldn't even put my name on a service call list. I had to call back the next day. I did: Tues. 7:15 am & I was told that someone could get to my home on Wed night!. Guy got there 7:35pm. AND he didn't have the part & had to order it - a thermostat - common part. PSEG came back FRIDAY. AND PSEG couldn't fix the other issue!!!!! When I saw what was happening with PSEG, I called GRC Mechanical on Thursday...and they were at my house within 90 minutes!!!!! GRC checked out the situation and were back early Friday to take care of the problem. Before you knew it I had hot water! GRC is the company I have been working with since I moved to Mahwah in the mid 90's. GRC is a no hassle, no BS, reliable, honorable company that I have used for every home maintenance item I have.They are responsive and reliable and fairly priced. Not sure why I didn't get the hot water heater from them in the first place but that won't happen again! I have cancelled my PSEG "worry free" maintenance plan and have everything with GRC. It's the best service - and the best people - you can get if you are really looking for "worry free"!
