From my experience: On first glance, it was a well established family-run business. However, after months of working there I realized it to be a facade with a lot of shady corners being cut. Not to mention, I was usual the designated volunteer ,resulting one time in me being rushed to the ER for having an asthma attack, even though I’ve never had asthma . After, about 3 months working through deplorable conditions with no repercussions nor any written forms of policy violations I was terminated. Which the company had the right to do since it was the 90th day. As far as work quality is concerned I still got to give them a two star cause they get the work done, even if it isn’t exactly what you are paying for.

The Alber staff is always professional and does a thorough job. Joe was the serviceman for this service call and did a great and efficient job to fix my clogged condensation pipe for my HVAC system..

Great company, great knowledgeable professional service people, very clean and respectful, Troy and Joe just to name two are phenomenal ! Wish every business was like Alber Service Company, never any hassles or problems, so grateful I chose them.

I have been a customer of Albers Service company for over 15 years. Albers did an energy audit, replaced my heat, hot water (tankless), and central air. I have been exceptionally pleased with their service, and semi annual maintenance. They are professional, accurate and reputable. If I need them they are there within 24 hours. I would recommend them to anyone in S. Jersey!

We experienced a loss of hot water and Alber dispatched our favorite serviceman, Joe. Joe determined that the unit was dead (Fr. Joe gave it the last rites). Lisa managed to dispatch Chris and his teammate to replace the defective unit. All was completed in an hour and a half. Only downer was a trail of spots on our carpet that we cannot seem to be able to remove.

The problem I had was a very cold kitchen, even an inside wall. I was assured that by insulating the attic areas (2) in my house, and encapsulating the crawl space under the kitchen area, that the problem would be solved. It was even written on the contract: Make kitchen warmer. I spent $7,000 and the kitchen is just as cold. In fact, I feel the house is even colder (My thermostat is turned up 2 degrees higher than last year and it wasn't even cold this winter). The only reason I was interested in getting ANY work done was to improve that area of the house because the rest of the house was comfortable. When I called to tell them that they didn't solve the problem, the salesman came out and told me that he guessed it would just have to be the way it was and then said something about my thermostat being above a dimmer switch on the wall and that was giving the thermostat a false reading. My reply was that the kitchen is still cold regardless of what the thermostat says. I'm really disappointed and now I'm out $7,000. I will say that the work they did was very nice and the workers were very respectful and professional, but the fact of the matter is we had a contract that clearly states they will make the kitchen warmer and they didn't.

Our technician for years has been Joe Girouard. He has been stellar in so many ways: courtesy, competence, promptness, total dependability. He is truly excellent at what he does and every piece of advice he has given us throughout the years has proved to be invaluable. So great to have someone in our lives who gives 200% every time he sees us. Thanks Joe for all you do!

I would recommend. The team that serviced my house was knowledgeable and fixed my heating problems quickly.

They seemed like a decent local company. They did work, apparently without a permit, in Summer of 2018 at which time we paid in full. Township called to tell us that the permit was not accepted...and then Alber billed for a permit in February of 2019. Seems like an old fashioned double dipping and now billing for permits that should have been secured in 2018. Township will be out for inspection this week...7 months later. Buyer beware.
