Very impressed with this company. Excellent, professional staff and service. Beginning with the office managers to the plumbers, I was very happy with their services. Everything went smoothly! I would definitely recommend them!! Thank you Pruzansky!
I've had Pruzansky come in twice -- once to replace my broken shower control and more recently to snake a blocked laundry drain line. Both times they knew what they were doing and got the job done efficiently. But I'm taking 2 stars off because they are ridiculously pricey; for example, nearly $400 for snaking the drain which took maybe 5 minutes. Next time I'm doing it myself but if that's not an option for you, I'd recommend shopping around a bit first.
Pruzansky Plumbing is by far the most reliable and responsive plumber I have ever used. Since becoming a home owner, I have used Pruzansky for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs. Pruzansky has always come within a couple of hours of my call and even made housecalls to me on the weekends. The service is great and they always have good pricing when compared to other plumbers in the area. I will continue to use Pruzansky Plumbing and Heating for any of my house jobs in the future.
TERRIBLE plumbing and HVAC services. First had them come out to fix a leaky sink, and it was still leaking after a month. They said they would have to charge us another $185/hour to come out because it had been a little over 30 days (and they claimed their work is under warranty for that period only). Then, they came twice to fix a leaking AC unit. The first time the person cleaned the vents and said that should fix it, but it was still leaking two days later. Called them again, they came out and said the drainage was actually disconnected and that there was no way the first person could know that so they charged us again. I talked them down to charging half because it was the same job (but so much for a 30 day warranty on their work). Then it was still leaking less than a month later, and they tell us they need to open up the wall to redo the drainage and will charge us again $185/hour plus parts. Finally, they cancel on us without ever letting us know. We will NEVER use them again. They are not good at plumbing, HVAC, or communication.
This company does not stand by the quality of their work. The previous owners of the condo we purchased in fall 2020 replaced the water heater using Pruzansky in April 2020. Starting winter 2020 we cannot get hot water whenever the gas baseboard heater is on. We called Pruzansky to fix it since it's still under warranty and all they said is that the warranty is non transferable so it's $150 for a visit to come see what's wrong with it. A new water heater is meant to last 10 years not 6 months. I would never recommend this company as they clearly do not stand behind their work.
For as long as I can remember, the Pruzansky name has been synonymous with reliability, integrity, and generosity. Though I didn't think it was possible, my latest experience with Pruzansky Plumbing served to enlarge that already august Pruzansky reputation.
From the second I called them, they were immediately available to service all of our plumbing needs. They did it professionally. They did it promptly. And most importantly, they did it with a smile. I cannot recommend them enough. I salute you, Pruzansky Plumbing!
We've used Pruzansky Plumbing a number of times and all of our experiences (including emergency visits on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve for 2 unrelated issues) have been excellent. Their customer service is exceptional as well as the quality of their work. We highly recommend Pruzansky Plumbing!
Wilfredo at Pruzansky Plumbing helped us with a leak from our toilet. He was on time and had good communication via cellphone. He first diagnosed the problem, and then did a professional fix. It turned out to be the wax seal at the base of the toilet. He was easy to work with and answered all of my questions. Thanks so much Wilfredo for a job well done!
My AC unit was not working and the company told me they can come fix it for $180 labor cost plus cost for the parts. They promised me to seek for my approval for any service as soon as they identified the problem, and as soon as I agreed, they will have my tenant sign for the receipt. Sounds convenience and reasonable enough.
So they came, they replaced the capacitor and booster, but the AC was still not working. They said they will have to come back to replace the condenser because they didn't bring the condenser with them. Meanwhile, they told me the labor cost was $185/hour for 1.5 hours, plus a little more for the cost of the parts. Which, although not we agreed on initially, I kindly accepted. They then had my tenant signed on the receipt and HAD HIM ALSO SIGNED TO AGREE THAT THE JOB WILL COST OVER $500.
I called for an explanation, now they told me they were charging me for $185/hour for 2 hours now, and the parts will be expensive. After a long argument I agreed on $425 for the total cost, and they will come back to help replace the condenser.
So they just came back to finish the unfinished job, and now they are telling me the bill went up to $1,200. They said they realized that my recently installed Nest thermostat needed a replacement too, so they did some additional jobs and the price went up significantly. THEY DID NOT SEEK FOR MY APPROVAL FOR ANY OF THESE JOBS, AND I DID NOT AGREE ON ANY ON THIS.
So in summary, the job went from $180 labor fee plus small fee for parts, to $1,200. I told them there is no way I can accept such an arrangement, and they said they will then "take actions" accordingly.

This is a complete scam and stay away from this.
