Whalen and Ives continues to be the best A/C and Heating company out there. Over the years I've had them replace an older A/C unit and continue to use the company for annual maintenance contracts to service our A/C and heating units. When I've needed service, I am always so pleased with the quick response and excellent repair work done. I recently had a problem with a unit that had been installed by another company prior to us knowing about Whalen and Ives. It was an issue that was very difficult to resolve. Whalen and Ives sent their crews several times who then worked tirelessly in extreme heat to fix the problem. It works perfectly now and I am extremely happy with the results. Scott the owner personally called me several times during the process to make sure that I knew what was happening. I was expecting a large bill for all the work that had been done but in the end there was no charge to me be because we have the annual maintenance contract. Now that is great service! Thank you Whalen and Ives!

They installed a new $10k furnace that couldn’t heat my homes water. Took them 5 visits to realize it was a wire sensor to my hot water tank that went bad. Then charged me $425 to replace the wire and insisted I pay them even though I had hot water issues from feb to April. We had no hot water for two weeks in February after the install. Owner didn’t care and chased me down to pay him $425 for a part that cost less than $80. Which should of been include the $10k I paid in a new furnace install. They do not care if you have no hot water they just want to make money and squeeze you for everything. The owner was rude and cold and horrible business man. Be carful!

I called Whalen and Ives on a Sunday with an AC issue and they offered to have someone at my house on the same day!! Because it wasn't terribly hot I said Monday would be fine. They had someone at my front door at 8:00 and quickly diagnosed the problem. Since the part was not in stock, they called it in and sent another team back in under 3 hours to install it!! Now THAT'S service. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for true professionals that are fair, reliable, honest and trustworthy. They now have a customer for life!

Left a message after hours with their answering service, and Scott was back to me very quickly. We discussed the problem I was having with my central AC, and he scheduled a tech to come out the next morning. He called back himself before the tech arrived, to follow up with me. The tech came and fixed the issue quickly. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

Every time I call they are super accommodating and professional. They always try to save old parts when they can which saves money. They even try to troubleshoot things with me on the phone if they can on the weekends to avoid emergency fees. The technicians are all so knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone especially Bobby. He seems to know literally everything.

I can’t really write my experience because they didn’t do any work, but we called for a quote and was told that they could not do a quote because it wasn’t ordered by a lawyer. Which was very odd considering we needed three quotes and they were the third place we called to try and get a quote and the other two places had no problem giving us a quote. i’m just assuming at this point they don’t want new customers.

For the service calls they were quite good, however when I requested a formal proposal for a new HVAC system, they had a salesman come but he just never followed up! I called two times for a formal proposal and still no follow up. If they didn’t want to do the job, just flat out tell me. But whatever, end of the day I got proposals from four other vendors near me....so don’t sleep on your customers because I’ll be taking my contract elsewhere

Service was excellent today. Techs were super friendly and knew what they were doing. I have dealt with other companies and Whalen & Ives is by far the best. I recommend 1000 percent. 08/02/18

Service tech was very professional & knowledgeable. Charged the system & cleaned the coil and we were good to go. Your company installed my 2 units 26 years ago, then replaced them about 8 years ago, then replaced 1 of them 3 years ago after a fire damaged it. You provide a quality service.

Every year I get maintenance check on my heating and cooling units. They are professional, on-time, and helpful. One time I had the AC compressor break and they resolved the issue over the phone because it was during early summer busy season and couldn't get onsite right away.
