Tanous Air Conditioning

After having many companies come out to try and fix a heating issue, Tanous Heating was the only one that was able to do it. They were easy to work with and were cost effective. I would absolutely recommend them.

I have been a customer of Tanous heating for several years now. As a multi family owner in Union City I struggled to find a reliable HVAC company that could be responsive to my tenants needs for efficient and effective HVAC repairs. I was thrilled to get connected with the Tanous team, Alex and Kris, and the entire company, have wildly exceeded my expectations of customer service! I have used them for seasonal maintenance, break fix repairs and new installations. I highly recommend them to both personal homeowners and commercial operations.

In my own attempt to rewire a new smart thermostat, I created a big mess and left ourselves without heat. Tannous HVAC came to the rescue and we are now back warm and comfortable.
Alex was responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Very impressive.

Tanous was fantastic. I had a couple of different companies come out for a diagnostic prior, and Tanous was so much better than all the others.

They came out, told us exactly what was wrong with our mini split system (and that the last owner hired non qualified people to do the work), and scheduled a time and reasonable quote to move and repair our units.

When they did come out to do the repair they spent 10 hours and did amazing work. Took their time, were very clean, knew exactly what they were doing. Our system now works flawlessly and we couldn’t be happier with the work.

I highly, highly recommend. It’s always hard finding good folks in the service industry who are honest, fair, and knowledgeable, but these will be my go to HVAC guys for as long as I live in Hoboken.

Just had the AC/Heat unit replaced in my condo. Great job by Tanous HVAC in the midst of a pandemic. They were there when they said they would be and got the job done. Very attentive when I needed to call and get some questions answered and just an overall great job.

We have used Tanous for hot water heater installation, HVAC work (including new system installation) and repair work on the old system. Mike, the owner, has personally visited our home several times to give estimates and make sure we were satisfied. He even traveled over an hour to my parent’s apartment to undertake a massive project for them. EVERYONE at this business is professional, kind and considerate. Chris even fit us in when our air conditioner wasn’t working and our 16 yr old dog couldn’t take the heat. They do great work at an affordable price and we continually refer Tanous to family and friends. Thanks to everyone at Tanous for all you do for us!

My heat stopped working late in the evening and I called Tanous HVAC to schedule an appointment and they had a technician over within 1 hour and immediatly got my heat back on. Great Service!! I highly recommend them.

Mike the Owner is fantastic to work with and his team of his employees have been well trained. I had a water leak in my garage closet where my heating equipment & water heaters are housed. Mike quickly came by to access the damage. We immediately realized the current system was outdated and damaged from the water leak. Mike simply educated me on what he was seeing and didn't push me in any specific direction.
We collectively came to the conclusion that doing it right now would save me many headaches down the road.

Mike's Team installed new equipment and did a great job with the entire process. They moved quickly to get me back up and running but did not overlook the finite details. Now I have brand new furnaces and new tankless water heaters - good for the next 20+ years. Tanous helped me increase the value of my home at a fair price. I highly recommend using this company for any of your HVAC needs.

My wife and I moved into a condo building in Jersey City, and within a year, the HVAC crapped out! We had no idea what to do or who to turn to. We called so many companies and they all either ignored us, never showed up or quoted incredibly high prices. Finally we got referred tanous. They took on our project, gave us good pricing and did an amazing job. They were thorough, professional always on time, and our new Hvac System is amazing! Our place is super cool and feels like a hotel now!
