I recommend Green Apple Mechanical for plumbing. I am from Garfield. My water heater stopped working and started to leak. He came over right away over the weekend and checked a few things. He first tried to see if he can replace the heating element. Then upon further inspection he replaced the heater because of the hard water sediment at the bottom that was piled up in the last seven years. He replaced it with the same size within a day and waited to check if there were any leaks. I am very happy with the responsiveness and quality of work.

Required emergency service for a furnace failure in sub-freezing temperatures. This company advertised 24-hour services and 1) picked up the call immediately (after 8 pm) 2) was able to respond quickly and 3) had our furnace repaired by 11 pm. The technician was courteous, efficient and made the additional effort to measure carbon monoxide levels near the unit and in the living area. We were very pleased with their services and will contact them first in the future. Pleasant, knowledgable and fairly priced.

I was in urgent need of replacing a faulty bathroom shower valve that was leaking. It was a Friday late afternoon, I called a few places no one was available or even willing to take such a small job in such a short notice. Green Apple Mechanical accepted the small but important job and showed up on time . Good Quality Work Reasonable/Affordable Prices .

These guys are the best! We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both at the end of July 2019.

When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean.

I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves.

I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!

On Saturday morning I lost heat- furnace unresponsive. I couldn’t find anyone to help, but
Green Apple sent a technician in one hour.
He trouble shot the problem, replaced a part, and was able to restore heat. Knowing the motor was on its way out, he predicted it might need replacement. Sunday morning it happened again. I called and again had him back in an hour. Monday morning a new motor was installed and all systems perfect!

Had a small, slow leak from a heating pipe that had corroded away a hole by leaning on a nail in the ceiling .. while the troubleshooting baffled the tech - he professionally did he job, found the issue and resolved it. While the dispatcher mentioned he would have someone at my home in an hour, it was not the case, a little longer but the tech called when he was on his way. Reasonable price as well for the work. I would use them again in a heartbeat

It was snowing heavily today, after called Green Apple Mechanical, in less than 30 mins Amro and his helper came despite of this terrible weather. They are friendly, honest, punctual, and responsive, and they make sure things are done right. Plus they gave us a good price. I highly recommend them to whoever needs plumbing/mechanical services.

They came in a pinch - called them at 9:30pm on a 20 degree night when my heater gave out and my regular plumbing service was not responsive.
