Ran low on oil last month. It was cold outside. Just made one quick phone call and got delivery that day. They let me send them a check as do all good oil services. I have never had my heater stumble , or act up with their product. I'm totally satisfied with their service.
We were referred by an old employee and spoke with Dianne about our situation about the hot water in the shower only staying hot for 30 seconds. She was so sweet and helpful and told us it’s best to just get oil in the tank. We are new homeowners & have no experience with oil tanks or boilers. We got an oil delivery but the problem persists so we spoke with a different receptionist the following day (today) and explained our situation. She quoted a $30 upcharge in price than Dianne did (assuming because it’s a weekend). Tech came out and told us call a plumber. Easiest $130 the company probably ever made. Disappointed and still taking cold showers. Maybe had we known it was a plumbing issue we would’ve had time to get a plumber to come out instead. The home owning lessons are starting real early I guess.
We completely lucked out with this company when they took over our old fuel oil company this year. Our 24 year old oil burner finally gave out this year and 7oil was out to do maintenance on it twice to keep it running while we decided on when to replace it. Everyone was so helpful and courteous and professional, from Sharon the office manager to Steve who did the maintenance work and gave us the estimate on the new system to Jason and Dave, the techs who actually did the removal and installation of the new system. Much to my surprise, the new system came with three years free maintenance and a generous credit toward fuel purchases all worth about $2,000. So the installation was worth every penny. I can’t say enough about the two guys who did the installation though. I’m very neurotic about my home, but they managed to remove the old furnace and get the new one to the basement without so much as a scratch to my walls or hardwood floors. They worked very neatly and put in a full days hard work both days that they were there. Then the took the time to go over everything and answer all my questions always treating me politely and with respect. Sharon in the office took care of all the permits and warranty registrations. I love this company. I feel like I can call them any time, and they are right there for me to put my mind at ease and see to it that my home is kept warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They really know how to treat their customers. I couldn’t be happier, and I highly recommend them for all your heating, cooling and fuel needs.
We use their division, Bottom Dollar, for home heating oil delivery. They are always courteous and professional. Today I needed heating oil immediately because we ran out (I’m a dummy). They were here within the hour, filled tanks and restarted our dual furnaces within 20 minutes. Excellent, excellent, excellent customer service!!
Honestly, life savers. We are home owning newbies, and used 7 Oil Plus to fill our oil tank about a month after moving in. A couple months later, we wake up to find the house is cold - turns out, gauge on the oil tank got stuck, and we are 100% empty. Call 7 Oil in a bit of a panic, and no problem - they get a truck out to us same day, within 90 minutes of calling. Then there's a problem getting the system to kick back on as running out of oil caused a lockout - no problem again. They get a service tech out within the hour. Same day, two unplanned services - and the house is warm again by 5 o'clock. We'll be customers as long as they're around!
I ordered $300.00 worth of oil, additive and a start up. Never got no cost prime and start. Driver 55 had me turn on thermostat and wait a few minutes, it started and stayed on. I went outside where he was filling my tank and asked about additive as I was told once you use it you always have to use it. He said oh you ordered additive? He checked and after putting away his hose he put in the additive. I went back inside as he pulled away and my furnace was no longer running. I called the office and was told someone could come look at it for $99.00. Are you kidding me. He never primed my furnace and put the additive in after everything was done. He even left the empty bottle on top of my furnace. Very disappointed as I've used 7 Oil since I moved here and after buying my home I got a slew of quotes but stayed with 7 Oil because I liked Pat. Now I guess I need to find a a new company. Very unhappy. UPDATE:I got a call within an hour of posting and between Diane and Bill everything was 100% taken care of. I went from being angry and wanting to switch companies to being very pleased with the customer service I received. Thank you for doing the job right and the advice about my gauge. Definitely worth a 5 star rating.
The lady from the office. Who talked to us on the phone is not very friendly. She gives us attitude. She did not explain to us on the phone. We can use credit card as payment. She requested us to pay Check or Money order. The delivery guy is so friendly and nice. He told us we can use credit card as payment and we don't need to be home. As a new customer, I hope the office lady can change her attitude. Be patient and friendly to all your customers. And not giving wrong info.
I usually don't like complaining about people because I don't like getting people in trouble because they have to earn a living but the lady in the office rude and that's the 1st line you interact with...but the driver was respectful and gave great service
Nasty customer service, you better be ready to freeze your xxx if you need them after hours and they say they’ll come… you have babies in the freezing house,contact someone else or go to home depot and buy some heaters , this people won’t come , and will give you attitude all call long!
The woman who answered the phone when I asked the current price per gallon refused to tell me until I told her the last time I ordered oil from them. I couldn't remeber. We often shop around to get a lower price. As if customers can't shop around in this inflated economic state!!!! I will never deal with this company again.
