A few years ago, Fox HVAC did a great job installing three mini split units in my house. I recently asked them to uninstall the units to get new siding and gutters. They were quick and professional in uninstalling the units, as well as, working with the other contractors when it was time to reinstall the units. They also worked with the siding company to ensure the reinstallation was perfect. I highly recommend Fox HVAC!

Awesome awesome! Spoke to owner for set up super friendly guy that you would probably drink beer with! His HVAC guy that came out was another awesome guy. Super thorough, great educator of what to do and look out for and just felt a great vibe all the way around. Will definitely recommend and do further business with them.

I just started working for this company, and i must say it is the best job i have ever had hands down.
Bill is the most generous boss to his employees and even more generous to his customers. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure EVERYONE is beyond satisfied. His technicians are well educated and keep up on the latest equipment. I would refer him to anyone who needs any HVAC service.

I hate to write reviews like this...but they don't have their stuff together, that's for sure. For the first appointment I scheduled because our radiators were not working and we had a $600 PSEG bill. They gave an absurd appointment window. I took off work, and then I got a call from their (totally obnoxious) receptionist to let me know they couldn't make the window and that they needed to reschedule to push the appointment up earlier in the day. (Which I later found out was so they could close down and she could leave early...professional, right?)

When the guy finally got there, he looked at my system said "it's steam, I don't do steam," and told me I'd have to schedule another appointment. Mind you, I told the receptionist it was a steam system when I called to set up the appointment. After arguing with him for a bit, he got another guy out to look at it. At the end of their visit, I still wasn't clear on what was wrong with the system, but they said that they would send me an estimate...which never came.

So, a day or so later, I get a call from that same receptionist saying I would need to schedule another appointment for them to come out again. I flipped out on her - I'll admit it, but after paying $110 (which they eventually refunded), losing a day of work, and still not understanding what was wrong with the system...the whole thing was just unacceptable to me. So, reluctantly, I scheduled to have the owner come out at the next appointment.

When the owner came, we spoke with him about getting a Mitsubishi system installed in the Spring, and I'm sure he saw dollar signs at that point. The radiators became a secondary concern at that point, and he wanted to map the house for zones etc. Before he left, he was saying the radiator fixes should be around $300ish and that he would get us the estimate for the AC system. The AC system estimate came in at $21,000, which was too high for us to be able to do this Spring - we just moved into the house 60 days ago...$21K just was not feasible after the large home purchase, and we had to pay taxes in for 2017...it just wasn't going to happen. So, then he starts pushing to install half a system, which we had to firmly say no to. (Why would we install half a system?????)

When I asked about getting the radiators fixed (which was our primary concern this whole time), the estimate was suddenly $525. When I asked to have it itemized, he said that most of it was labor, that he couldn't really itemize it, and that he was "flat-rating" it to save us money. I looked up the parts for what he was going to replace...he was wayyyyyy over-charging. Save your time and money. Go with a reputable, and professional company. I hate to leave reviews like this since my parents are small business owners, but this whole experience was just awful. My husband and I don't like feeling pressured to make purchases that we can't afford at the moment or like we're being ripped off for work that actually needs done. It felt totally predatory.

Fox Heating & Air Conditioning is a smaller company that cares about its customers, unlike some bigger outfits that burn & churn their clients. They are very knowledgeable about the industry, their products, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend this company!

The technicians I worked with were friendly, prompt and took the time to explain all of my options in terms of HVAC systems in a way that I could understand. They were also up to date on all of the newest HVAC technology, including smartphone controlled thermostats. William C Fox is a customer service oriented business. During the Memorial Day weekend, Mr. Fox personally drove to a parts manufacturer so that one of his techs could complete the repair and restore the system. The techs are courteous and professional. I highly recommend William C Fox!!
