Called for ice Machine and HVAC service. I was supposed to get a consultation. someone else fixed the ice machine because i needed it fixed asap before Basic had an appointment to come. But, my HVAC still needed servicing. My manger was setting up a catered event. The rep spoke to my manager over the phone and the rep would not listen to the issue, just wanted to know how he was going to get paid. I get it. All service people want to get paid...that's how it works. All he had to do was call me, the owner, back and he would see that I would have paid in any of his preferred methods. Instead, he just took off. I suspect there is another reason why he thought he would not get paid.....I hope I am wrong...either way, Not professional.

My furnace was on the fritz, so I called Basic. Jeff answered (no voicemail!) and arrived at my home within 15 minutes. He told me that he wasn't sure of the problem yet -- didn't want to charge me for parts/repairs I didn't need, so did some diagnostics and called to re-evaluate hours later. Based on the tests, he determined what I needed, bought the part, and showed up the next day promptly as promised to install it. He encouraged me to reach out if I had any other issues. This is the way service should be. Jeff is pleasant, honest, thorough, responsive, and reasonably priced. And I have heat! I would recommend Basic Refrigeration in a heartbeat.

My AC went out during several days of 90+ degree heat. Called Jeff and the team at Basic Refrigeration. They responded promptly. Replaced a fuse to the fan motor. Could have easily told me I needed a new fan motor but he didn't, so the fix was a $15 part instead of several hundred for a new fan motor. Great, fast service, extremely professional and clearly an honest businessman and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Basic for all your heating and AC needs. Thanks Jeff!!

The team at Basic did a great job explaining the benefits of a new heating and air conditioning system and detailed the cost, efficiency and comfort benefits. Once we decided to move forward, the team came and installed and hauled away all old equipment and debris.
