The team at Amtek is always there when we need them. And they ALWAYS go above and beyond for their customers. On one visit to my warehouse, one of my employees complained about a leaking hose spigot. That is all Anthony and his crew needed to hear. Needless to say at the end of the day our AC was working beautifully and surprise no more leaky spigot!!! I would highly recommend them to any business owner or property manager who takes pride in their buildings.

AMTEK bailed us out in a crisis (heater not functioning) on a cold day in February, 2015, and we have been loyal customers ever since. Anthony and team responded promptly on that weekend day and rescued us. Since then, AMTEK has provided GREAT service on every occasion, and recently replaced our furnace. The service is always of the highest quality, and Anthony and Dana are always responsive and willing to work with us through any situation.

I would NOT recommend this company for any reason, and will not give even 1 star. I initially gave a 5 star review, as I am a business woman myself. After I posted, and within a 2 hour period, the nightmare began!

When they first came, I only called to have the Humidifier explained to me as my son was badly injured in a rehabilitation center. The crew that came out CONVINCED me I needed a service contract at $565. A few days later, I was told part of the service contract is to INSPECT the units and clean. When they came back the crew CONVINCED me a fairly new system needed replacement parts, AND CONVINCED me I need a water safety valve on both units, as the installer INSTALLED THE UNITS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

Upon their touching my units, my upper floor high efficiency unit stopped working. They came back 3 times and EACH TIME spent several hours, to still not working. I called an HVAC company that does nothing but this type of work to discover the parts, they CONVINCED me did not exist and by law needed ALREADY EXISTED ON THE UNITS!!!!!! The basement unit is already set up to flow into the sump well. The house would need for a flood 4 feet deep before their piece installed would kick in. The part installed in the upper level of the home ALREADY EXISTED 4 FEET TO THE RIGHT OF THIS PART THEY INSISTED NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED!!!!!!! They took away parts as well, so that now come winter I DO NOT HAVE HEAT!!!!!! Had I not had issues with the air conditioning no longer working properly, I WOULD HAVE NOT KNOWN, and they would have CONVINCED me a fairly new unit is now not working and needs parts.

I am in process of contacting an attorney and cost of repairs.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON!!!!!!

On April 4, 2014, Anthony of Amtek arrived to help figure out why our electric bills spiked in recent months for no apparent reason. Amtek replaced the heating / cooling system, duct work and hot water heater after Superstorm Sandy did its damage.

As a starting point, he thoroughly rechecked all the equipment that was installed and found everything running smoothly. He then reviewed all of our electric bills for the last 12 months and discovered inconsistencies in our meter readings.

All in all his visit lasted almost two hours, which he took out of his busy schedule at no charge to us. He was there when we needed him the most. Talk about customer service!

Anthony wanted to make sure we were satisfied and it is this commitment in caring, customer service that makes Amtek stand out from the rest. I’m happy to be a part of the Amtek family.

Can't say enough about this company. I had a heating system issue at my dad home that resulted in some water problems as well. I called AMTEK and they were there within an hour or so. Prior to coming, I had spoken to a technician on the phone and they had provided me with a quote. To my surprise when they arrived and looked at the system, the told me the repair was not as complicated, and the invoice would be lower than quoted. YEAH for me.

Because of this, when I had a heat problem in my own home, I called them again. They sent the same technician that I had met before. He was in my home, fixed my problem and left the work area cleaner than when he arrived.

So air died, unit in attic fried. Called my guy Anthony Miele from Amtek HVAC who has treated me with kid gloves since I moved here in 2014. Always came to my rescue. Now he is an advisor with Coastal AC out of Hazlet. The owner, George, is on his way from there to help me get my new unit tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow. Having MS and rosacea, heat is a killer. My house is usually set at 63 degrees all year, I kid you not. So having my house in the 90s almost caused me heatstroke. Luckily I was away for 1 week and I'm still at my niece's house, thank the Lord! I highly recommend this company. They have techs close by to service your needs. Having the owner drive from Hazlet to address my needs is unheard of. I thank God for meeting Anthony and all the staff at Coastal AC. Highly recommend.

I called because my 4 unit mini-split air conditioner was not working. I was quoted a "trouble-shooting" fee and scheduled an appointment two days later. The technician analyzed the problem and and I was given a contract for the required parts and labor which included a surge protector which they highly recommended.
The jobs done and we are cool.
