The guys at Brookside did top notch work replacing our 24 y/o Weil-McLain. Dropped off the new Buderus unit and HTP tank on Tuesday, came back on Wednesday and had everything installed and the old unit removed by the time I got home from work. Easy process start to finish.
First person I hired to do work on my new home in NH. Great company my 1st service call was the owner . Extremely professional and personable. Call to check on us a day later to make sure we were operating to standard. My 2nd call I dealt with Dave Lowe svc mgr. he dispatch a tech the next day. I highly recommend this company.
Go figure...my furnace decides to stop working as soon as the temperatures drop. I called this company, left a message with the call center, received a call back within a couple of hours and an appointment was booked. The two gentlemen that came to service my furnace were super nice and they even gave my dog the attention he so desperately craves every time he sees a human. Definitely recommend!
On May 19th, I booked this company to come out and install an AC since this company installed the heater (new construction). Saturday before Memorial day, Dave sends an email requesting 50% down payment before company will come out.
Understandable, but should have been discussed at booking. I send it Tuesday 5/30 at 9 am in Concord NH Post Office. All week long, no mention of any additional payment.
Day of (6/2), get an email stating that 1) hasnt received a check from tuesday and 2) requires remaining balance.
On what planet does anyone in an residential setting pays full price before any kind of installation without prior notification? No one. We have purchased this house brand new and had extensive work installing generator, custom wiring, and other modifications and the payment schedule was discussed UP FRONT with no surprises. If they wanted full payment upfront, they should have asked for it at 3 different times.
1) At the booking 2) at first correspondence regarding partial payment 3) at any time before the DAY OF INSTALLATION.
This company is highly unprofessional and out of the norm for my experience dealing with New Hampshire businesses. I hope this review keeps people away from shysters such as these.
We've used Brookside to replace our HVAC this past summer and our oil furnace this month. They do what they promise and always have the best prices. We've suffered with bad ductwork in this house for 5 years. Dave and Mike corrected the issue and did what 3 other heating contractors did not. We're now enjoying even, toasty heating. And summer's are cool and quiet! I highly recommend BROOKSIDE!
Brookside Mechanical did the HVAC installation at my business and has done all the service at my business and residence. They are are trustworthy, efficient and reasonably priced. I recommend them to everyone I know.
These people came into my home and took something that did not belong to them, I am considering contacting the police. Things can be replaced, trust cannot be rebuilt.
