What a WONDERFUL breath of fresh air! Garry came out to fix my leaky bathroom faucet. He was very professional, on time, explained everything he was doing. Very pleasant and knowledgeable! He even fished a spoon out of my stuck garbage disposal. He taught me how to turn the water off and gave travel tips as well. So rare to find a handyman that is this thoughtful! He really made my day. I will definitely use this company for any future needs. Thank you so much!

Your first call in a plumbing emergency is to contact 5 Star Home Services. My water heater began to leak after hours and my home warranty recommended them. Fortunately, Garry of 5 Star Home Services was dispatched and took the time to assist me in all aspects of the plumbing, water remediation and insurance process. His professionalism and trust as well as efficient and timely work instilled the confidence that I wanted in this situation. I will be contracting them again for any work required in my home.

My home warranty company sent a plumber from another company to fix a leaky shower, after three days it began to leak again, so they came out thanksgiving morning and said they not only couldn't fix it but made it leak worse, so i was unable to use my shower to having to cap it. i called the home warranty company and they contacted 5 Star Home Services Inc whig sent Gary. Gary found the problem, which was the other company using old/ used parts to fix my shower. Gary installed a new cartridge, which should have been done by the other company, and my shower hasn't dropped since! Thanks for being efficient, professional, and honest Gary!

I called 5 Star Home Services and they sent me an Angel called Gary!!! Its the day before Thanksgiving and my water heater broke, and its cold!!! Thankfully Gary came assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. Within an hour I had a brand new water heater installed. He was amazing and super professional. 5 Star Home Services, you have a new customer for life!!!!!

Anyone who gets a time frame of 7 to 11 am on a friday would be dreading having any work done in their kitchen, but Taron was here as soon as i woke up, came in detected the problem with our disposal and was finished in less than 20 minutes. He was extremely professional and couldnt have been nicer. Thankyou!!!

Company failed to respond to the first appointment and rescheduled for the next day. They missed the 4 hour window and called and said they would have to reschedule a third appointment 2 days later. The Technician was very unprofessional on the phone and the office receptionist wasn’t much better. They should change the name to 1 star service.

My water heater went out on February 11th. This company was assigned to me by my warranty company American Home Shield and they came to my house on Saturday February 12th. The technician diagnosed my water heater as leaking and needed to be replaced. He then tells me that I will have to wait a week to over a month to get approved a replacement by AHS. He then tells me the water heater that AHS uses to replace mine is a piece of junk. He then tells me that his boss authorized him, at a expedited fee of $350 to use there unit which is a Rheem. He then tells me that I have the worst policy with AHS and that they hardly will pay anything. That the hoses, the pan, the earthquake straps, pulling the permit and most of the labor is not covered by my policy. He then tells me that my out of pocket is going to be $1400. He said that if I did not have AHS that I would be paying $2200 and he proceeded to show me other customers contracts that had that price, as well as other AHS customers who have been waiting since January 8th to get their water heater installed. I paid the $1400 and called AHS on Monday to ask why they do not cover all the expenses. The rep at AHS called this contractor who told them I struck a side deal with him. This is a lie. I paid what I did based on what I was being told. It is not a nice feeling to be taken advantage of and scammed out of coverage from AHS. If you have AHS and get assigned to this contractor, get someone else, or call AHS if they are telling you nothing is covered and you have a bad policy. I am currently communicating with AHS for a resolution. This is just bad business and NOT 5 STAR. Take your business elsewhere.

I have used this company twice for different circumstances. After my first experience I requested this company through my home warranty company to assist in a more recent plumbing issue. In both instances, everyone I spoke with from scheduling the appointment to providing the actual services were pleasant and professional. Additionally, they were very knowledgeable and proficient. Both times I had repairs conducted, these gentlemen went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with their work. I HIGHLY recommend this company and hands down will use this company again if their services are needed.

I was assigned this company through my homeowners warranty- not only did they save my A&& they saved me a lot of cash!! While scrubbing my glass shower doors I turn on my shower wand to rinse the soap and suddenly the handle that controls the water is no longer connected! Water is running nonstop and I had no way to shut it off- panic sets in!!! Longstory short 5 star comes out and shut off water at main- initially they said I’d need to install a new valve which meant the walls of the shower had to be cut open- they needed authorization from the insurance so I spent an evening with no water in my home ;( insurance told me they’d only cover the valve repair not the rebuild of the shower walls- yikes!!!$$$ Today they sent Superman! Gary showed up on time, took a look and said we just need to get that cartridge that’s broken in the wall -out- I was certain I was being forced to do a basic remodel because the home is over 20 I’d never be able to match the tiles.. BUT low and behold this guy had some tricks up his sleeve and made my day!! He did not cut into the walls and instead insisted he could change the cartridge which was broken inside the valve and I’d be good to go and that’s exactly what Gary did!! I couldn’t be more pleased!! Gary was efficient, professional, and seemed to enjoy his job. I was at home alone and never felt uncomfortable with him at all- he was polite and a true vetted plumber- I hope management knows his worth!! Gary is a true asset for 5 star home services!! Thanks 5 star!! 5 stars for sending a real pro!
