Oh my gosh. This is the second time Garry has been to our house and he is the BEST! He fixed our garbage disposal so quickly. From the time he rang the doorbell to the time he walked out the door was 14 minutes I counted! He’s kind and sweet and takes time to talk to us about how to use the equipment and what to look for in the future. When we buy our own house he’s the guy we will call 100% of the time! If you need to call this company ask for Garry! Thank you Garry!

Taron showed up bright and early. Knew exactly what my toilet problem was and quickly solved the problem. Fast and efficient. Just the way a plumber should be! I recommend and would most definitely use this company again.

This company was suggested to us via our home warranty. Our technician was Jerry and not only did he fix our problem, but he explained the problem in order to fix and diagnose next time. He did inform us that our system was a lot older and gave us recommendations for other systems. Great job, Jerry!

Horrible Horrible service! We called this company and explained to them our house was built with natural gas stub on the outside ready for connection. We just need a plumber to come out and hook our grill which is already natural gas not propane. So there was no need for any conversion. We just need the hose to run from our house to the grill. We were quoted $75 to do so. Tech came thru the gate asking for payment before he even view our equipment or house. He was very limited on his conversation with us. Did not answer any of our questions, nor allowed us to fully explain what we were requesting. He took two measurements and said he will be back he needed to see if the warehouse had the parts and he needed to run the request by his manager. Give him a few hours and he will be right back. A few hours later he called saying he could not fulfill our request because it required a permit and that was $2,800. When he questioned him about the $75 he charged he said that was for him spending his gas coming to our house. We called the office and spoke with the same employee who booked the appointment and was told he can connect the hose but the tech was under the impression we wanted to put pipes under the ground. We never had a conversation about putting pipes under the ground. We asked him to send the tech back out to do what we requested and what we paid for. We were told it would be another $75 because that's another trip out to our house. When I demanded a supervisor we were told he would call us back in a few minutes. We waited 3 hours before calling back. Asked for a supervisor and we were told we were not going to be serviced because we didn't want to pay the $2,800 for the pipes under the ground. Which we NEVER asked for. I asked to speak to a supervisor again and the employee hung up the phone. We called back several times and they wouldn't answer. So they mislead us into paying $75. We are out of $75 and still need a plumber to connect our natural gas grill to our already ready stub on the house.

Plumber was in experienced and wanted to charge $1200 and put in a new valve when all I needed was new stems (cartridges) $60. First he said it was the shower head, I told him it was the stems (cartridges). He didn’t listen. I called my prior plumber and he fixed it.

Last week, my water heater burst. I contacted my home warranty company, and they set me up with 5 Star.

When I called to set up the appointment, the receptionist/dispatcher was very pleasant and professional. I was able to get on the schedule for the next day.

Garry was also very professional, and really seemed to know his work well. He took a look, and said right away that a replacement was needed. He also pointed out some items that were not up to code, and noticed some water damage that would not be covered under the home warranty, but could be addressed under our homeowners' policy.

He quoted out everything needed to bring everything up to code, and arranged for someone to come out regarding the water damage. He didn't have the right size water heather with him, or it would have been replaced immediately (he had the standard sizes in his truck, but ours was not standard for the size of our home).

The next day, the dispatcher called me, and gave me the info on the replacement and items needed to bring things needed to meet code. She also gave me the price, which was discounted for my birthday (today). She said that Garry would be back to install the new unit first thing this morning, and he was.

The connections on the new unit look a lot more legit than the old one. I can't wait to hit the shower!

All in all, a very pleasant experience!

Garry arrived initially and diagnosed the problem we had with our shower valve. He even let us know that we can get a free replacement if we call the manufacturer. Once the replacement came in he came back over and replaced the valve within an hour of calling. He was great! Super nice and very knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommend him and 5 Star Home Services!

Garry was exceptional.
I expected to get the run around because he was performing warranty work for our home warranty. We had a pipe burst and damage walls and ceilings. He got it repaired enough to get us through the night and came back and did a complete repair the next morning.
He was professional and concerned that our family was without water.
