I was extremely happy with the service including the plumber who took care of our pump replacement. The only complaint I had was the final price. I know that inflation has increased the price of everything, so it may not be a legitimate concern for them specifically.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is the best! I bought my appliances through Lowes, and the ONLY easy part about it was dealing with BFP! Communication was impeccable, and the gentleman who came out to install my disposal was so incredibly kind and honest. I so very much appreciate Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and will definitely recommend them in the future!!!

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a simple garbage disposal installation. I have used them a few times over the last 5 years with varying degrees of success. The quote I received, which I will not disclose, was a bit pricey (but I understand everything is more expensive these days).
The service technician (Mason) was very nice, but seemed pretty inexperienced and not so confident of his skills. I had to watch him the entire time, and he didn't seem to understand how the disposal should be properly seated with channel locks, even after I explained it several times. He had to leave twice to get parts he needed (so much for the truck/van being "90% stocked"). He dropped the disposal once, and then pulled the wiring out which he then had to re-wire. It took several hours (about 4) before he 'finished' the job. The installation was somewhat shoddy and didn't look professional (attached pic). He had to manhandle the P trap, which is why it probably leaked. I texted the manager, Mark, immediately at 8:30 pm and asked that he dispatch someone first thing the next morning. The next morning John showed up and redid some of the work that Mason did. He admitted that the work was not done quite right, and cut the some of the P trap segments shorter to make them line up better. He then tested the drain with a sink full of water. As soon as he left I ran the dishwasher for a full cycle and it leaked again. I called John immediately and he said he was out in Molt and couldn't get back that day. He said he would try to come the next day (likely afternoon). So I have been without my dishwasher and sink/disposal for two days, and couldn't use my kitchen last night because of the sewer odor.

We have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to replace our hot water heaters, replace the bladder in our well and now to replace our water softener. I have always found them to be honest, reliable, fair, and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing work done.
