Climate Masters Heating and Cooling

Highly recommend Climate Masters. They had helpful recommendations on how to replace our HVAC system and duct work to improve efficiency. I appreciated Tom's thorough assessment of our existing system to identify what could be easily modified as well as his honesty that a more expensive solution we were contemplating was not worth it.

I have a service contract with Climate Masters. I asked them to check one of my AC units, which was not working. They first tried to diagnose it over the phone. I appreciated that. Then they sent out a service person who determined it could be repaired, but given the age recommended a new unit. He was very thoughtful in understanding the financial issues--fixing it would probably only solve the problem temporarily because the unit was very old. So, we bought a new one and the installed it within a few days. That quick response was key, given the temperatures went up dramatically the next week. The new unit works great!

Climate Masters recently replaced two complete systems in our house. They were very thorough in their assessment of what we needed and not just looking to blindly replace with the equivalent of what was already there or push a major upgrade. They offered some small improvements that would help improve the heating/cooling in our home and the team that installed the systems were very professional and did great work.

We have been using Climate Masters for a number of years for AC and heating maintenance. They recently replaced our HVAC and furnace (both of which were 25 years old), and did some additional work on the ducts and ventilation. Tom reviewed several options with us, and the team showed up every day on time until the job was done. I should also note that our old HVAC was on life support, and it was a couple months into the pandemic, but they were still able to get the new unit for us in just a few days. We were very pleased with the work and the end result.

I have used Climate Masters for almost 20 years. Carl and his team are very responsive. We use the Maintenance Agreement plan and get our AC and furnace serviced each winter/summer. We just purchased a new AC unit from them. Climate Masters helped keep our old unit alive as long as possible. I highly recommend Climate Masters!

Austin from Climate Masters came out the day I called, walked thru the various options and rebates and explained a few code related items. He was very helpful and good to work with. The AC and furnace were replaced in a very timely fashion and the workers were great. Would definitely recommend.

Initially I was interested in Climate Masters because of my neighbor's recommendation and because they "specialize in older homes." I chose Climate Masters to install 2 new AC units because of the professionalism and attention to my specific needs by the HVAC engineer, Doug. Other estimators were merely salespeople for ACs and did not address the duct situation and my reports of how the previous system was working--or not. Everything went smoothly: the installers were friendly, professional, and helpful; they cleaned up daily. Climate Masters filed for my Ameren rebate which I received promptly. My units were installed in fall 2019 and I have not yet run them in the heat of the summer but initial tests showed improved air movement. I am also signing up for the maintenance agreement (includes my boiler) which includes discounts for service calls and repairs. I highly recommend Climate Masters!

We started using Climate Masters about 40 years ago when they first opened their business. They have renovated the heating and cooling systems on our 110-year old house ever since. They are careful, responsive, and courteous. Their work is always impeccable, and our house is much the better for their assistance.

We have been using Climate Masters since we lived in Webster Groves beginning in 1994. Recently, in our second Webster Groves house, we needed Climate Masters because our 23 year old upstairs Air Conditioning unit failed (it was the original equipment when the house was build and was only supposed to last for 15-18 years). We were given a fair bid to get a new upstairs Air Conditioning unit and a new furnace with a bigger (3 ton) capacity for upstairs. Climate Masters was able to come out, assess the situation, give us a bid, and begin to install the new equipment within a week. They did just what they said they would do and it is working well - our upstairs is cool again! I have not been disappointed in all the years we have had our AC/heating needs served by Climate Masters.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely use again. A different company came first and just said we need a new furnace and was going to replace it. Carrier recommended Climate Masters and the repair technician, Carl, explained the issue thoroughly. Installation manager, Doug, also reviewed our options. Installers were professional.
