Mark and his team at SmartHouse were great. Mark did an incredible job explaining how the new systems worked and what it would properly take to heat and cool our home as well as give us a great history of the Daikin brand that most people are not aware of. After reading the reviews on the system and learning more on my own, I realized that Mark went above and beyond making this happen. Thank you to all - our house is now cool, all the time!!!!

I have used SmartHouse for 3 years. They installed my A/C and heating which required changing over from electric to gas heating as well as redoing the insulation. Of all the companies we had come out to access the issue with the hose HVAC, they were the only company to do a thorough job of looking at all aspects of the house involved with the issue. I have continued to use them for maintenance. They are always prompt, thorough, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend them!

The whole SmartHouse team was courteous, professional, and focused on getting heat back in our home over a holiday weekend. They offered several options and communication was outstanding. They went the extra mile, arranging for their supplier to open so our furnace could be installed on New Year's Eve. From the first call to new furnace installed it was less than 30 hours!

SmartHouse is a fantastic company to work with. We bought a bit of a fixer upper and the of all the people we have hired in the last two years, they are our favorite. They show up on time (usually early even, but they call first to make sure that's OK) and they take care of the details to keep our home clean and running in tip top shape.

We have used SmartHouse for a home energy audit, adding insulation in the attic and we have had an annual service contract for our HVAC for the last two years. We have been very satisfied with all of the service we received. I shopped around before using them and the the cost for everything we have done has been very reasonable. Couple that with their excellent customer service and the deal can't be beat.

Luke has serviced our HVAC for the past two years and I can't say enough good about him. He is professional, pays attention to the details (such as he always puts booties on his shoes when inside) and does a very thorough job. Plus he is very friendly and always in a great mood.

We collected bids from SmartHouse Heating and Cooling to replace two HVAC systems in our home. They were by far the most responsive and took the time to explain their assessment and options. We wound up going with a Daikin variable speed system and feel we got a good rate on the systems. The office staff and service crew were great to work with. This company is not only experts in HVAC and smart home technologies, they could lead a course for other businesses on customer service! The new systems have been highly efficient - reducing our energy usage, lowering our power bills, and increasing our comfort.

Replaced 3 HVAC/furnaces with Smarthouse Heating and Cooling in August 2020, and they have been amazing. They put in the Daikin FIT variable speed systems as they were much better priced than competitor units and seemed to have better features like dehumidification that would reduce our energy bill and increase our comfort. The Daikin FIT compressor units outside are unbelievably small and quiet, and the AC and furnace systems are very effective and fast. The only complaint we have is that the Daikin Connect smart thermostat is quite annoying and difficult to use (though attractive looking), and that has been a major downgrade from our Ecobee/legacy thermostats from before. Despite that, our electric bill has been cut by 55-70% per month over the last 3 months which is incredible and our home is heating and cooling better than before by a long shot. Smarthouse also re-routed the vent ductwork to another side of the house to greatly improve the aesthetic of our home's exterior. Our installation was incredibly difficult because of quirks at our house, and Smarthouse did not try to upsell us or charge extra because of the greater than expected labor. They just got the job done and made sure it was done right.

I do need to comment that we were originally only installing 2 systems, and the 3rd broke while they were inspecting it. We were frustrated by that but since it was a 14 year old system that was incredibly loud, we opted to just replace it and smarthouse priced the replacement unit fairly enough and installed it within a week of the other units.

We have been dealing with Smarthouse for several years now and have had a very good experience! They are always very helpful and responsive. They always send the same technician, Luke to perform our maintenance. He is obviously very knowledgeable and courteous. We very much enjoy working with Luke. In summary 10 out of 10!

In the last 2 months we sold our house in L.A., moved to St. Louis and bought a duplex that had no A/C. So we were looking for a company that would be easy to work with at a reasonable price. We chose Smarthouse because of personal recommendations and the quick and professional interactions with Mark and his crew. Everything went smoothly, new heater/air conditioner units were installed for both floors in 3 days as promised. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

This was the second time the SmartHouse was at my house. I had a humidifier installed last fall and was very satisfied with the whole experience. After having some recent problems with condensate inside the furnace, I decided to call this company again. Since it is hard for me to get away from work I asked to be notified when technician is 30 minutes out, and they promptly did as requested (lots of companies refuse to do that, by the way). The tech, Marcus, arrived on time, was very thorough in inspecting everything, including the outside AC unit, re-taped all the seams where he had to open the unit, and even made sure that the bolt that was missing on the furnace motor was replaced. And that was within the price of a service call. I am more than satisfied with their service, will use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs. Thank you, SmartHouse!
