Had my HVAC replaced. Got a quote and had it replaced within a week. Very nice people and knew what they were doing. No communication problems, and had the job done within 8 hrs. Would recommend!

I asked them to quote a new AC unit. The sales guy said "we are not going in that crawl space, you'd have to be a midget to get in there". My husband is 250 and 6'3" and he's been in it. The sales guy didn't even bother sending a quote. RUDE and insensitive. Don't use them!

Less than a year ago, we purchased and renovated a condo in Kirkwood, and when we tried to change the HVAC filter we found it was nearly impossible to do. The HVAC unit, which was installed about 2 years ago, had been placed against a closet wall which requires one to bend, push and literally "wrestle" the filter into place (always damaging the filter in the process). A 15 to 30 minute process, at best. In addition, we find that our hardwood floors and furniture are always dusty - even though the doors and windows are always closed and only the HVAC provides the ventilation.

A week ago, we called another HVAC company to deal with an unrelated problem (thermostat) and asked them about the filter/dust problem. They told us that the unit had not been properly located within the closet (which is the reason for the difficulty in changing filters), and the filter box was not properly secured (which causes outside air to flow into the ventilation system). It was then that we learned for the first time that Galmiche had done the original installation (they left their company sticker on the backside of the unit, which we had not seen).

We called Galmiche to see if they would come out and correct the problem. Jeff Galmiche came out today and was very defensive from the outset. He reminded us that we were not his clients and told us that because the previous owner had not asked them to install the unit differently, they did what they did. Nothing else they would do about it. In other words, too bad - you'll have live and deal with it ... unless you buy a new filter system from us ($400)

Clearly, this is NOT a company I would recommend to anyone. If they can't stand by their work, own up to their mistakes, and correct them, why use them.

Only place I could find that would sell me (a noncontractor / somewhat handy homeowner) a capacitor for my AC unit. Friendly staff and immediate no questions asked assistance gave me exactly what I asked for. I swapped the capacitor for the new one in just a few minutes and I'm up and running after just a few hours (including about an hour of youtube research, looking at the possible issues relevant to the problem, and looking up the part specs) without having to pay hundreds for an emergency service call. Thank you for enabling me to fix this on my own and I'll certainly be reaching out to you for regular professional maintenance in the future.

My parents used them so when it came time for me to get my HVAC serviced I called them first. Arrived on time, identified and fixed the issue in a timely manner, and reasonably priced. Will deffinitly be using them next time something else breaks.

I am not sure why they say they are a 24 hour emergency service. I called at 10:30pm at night when water was dripping down through my ceiling fan. I called back at 11:15pm. No call back. The answering service assured me they would get the messages to the company. At 6:45am the next day they called. They shouldn't advertise 24 hour service!
