Galmiche & Sons came today to replace our furnace after not having adequate heating for one week. It was a difficult job removing the old furnace, but they were very persistent and did not complain. They were very professional, made sure everything was in working order prior to leaving, cleaned up everything, explained everything they had done, etc. They replaced our air conditioning this past summer after four days without air conditioning. They did an excellent job with this job as well. They have been in business since 1950. I am a Care Manager/Social Worker that makes home visits and I would recommend them to any of my clients/families.

Galmiche & Sons is an Honest, professional, fair priced, family owned company. I wouldn't recommend ANY other HVAC service or company to anyone. If you need your equipment checked up, serviced or you need a whole new set up. It should be your first and last call, you cannot beat the price!

I was delighted with Joe and the service I received with installation but I kept hearing a pop sound, after several service calls I finally found the pipes from furnace did not meet and when fan came on it made the hot pipe pop. When I called and spoke with Kelly he said I was out of warranty and gave all kinds of grief, then said he would check with owners, who of course okay repair. It took 2 months to get new pipes and time to repair, which was fine as it was summer however when I turned heat on recently nothing happened, so I called Kelly and said I think something was not turned back on, I was told they did nothing but repair the pipes there was a service call, I said fine I just needed heat. Then Kelly called back and said maybe they forgot to turn the gas on. No apology for the rude remarks. Needless to say I will never be calling again.

Galmiche & Sons installed an AC unit in my attic in January 2013, and has been maintaining it ever since. During a recent bathroom remodel, my general contractor discovered that the installation job was very poor. The unit was leaking because it was out of level, causing mold and wood rot. The airflow was poor because the connections to vents were bent. The maintenance was also poor. The filter had not been replaced during the last visit, the door was left off the unit, and the leaking was not noticed. Galmiche offered to remediate these issues, but not to reinstall the system, which other contractors have advised.

My extended family has used Galmiche now on 4 houses, and we’ve all been very grateful for their thorough work! They had the most reasonable estimate by far, were on time, responsive and very professional. We highly recommend them for air conditioning in St. Louis!!

Galmiche & Sons came out to do my fall heating inspection and "tune-up". The technician inspected, cleaned, and tested the thermostats, burners, and sensors. All went well. They also installed a complete HVAC system in a rental house i own. Installation was fast and the system has been working great for several years. Very reliable company.

When our furnace died over Christmas Jim and his team QUICKLY got us back up and running. Within 2 days we had our new furnace installed (and for a couple thousand less than their competitors). We would definitely use them again!

Genuinely fantastic human beings. Tim went to heroic and selfless lengths to help me locate a small but critical switch I needed to get my home furnace working again on a cold day, an activity that earned him absolutely nothing financially but that I and my family are deeply thankful for. When I replace my current furnace in a few years, I will definitely be hiring Galmiche & Sons to do the work!
