Faszold Heating and Cooling

I called Faszold this morning to request a quote. Mike came to the house in a matter of a few hours. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Mike was very thorough and explained the options at hand. He is a very good listener. I would not hesitate to call Faszold for assistance in the future.

Faszold ended up taking care of the issue and I am very pleased with the outcome. The only complaint I have is the length of time and effort necessary to get to this point. We were told that they were purchased by a private equity firm and that contributed to the confusion. In any event, I am updating my initial 1 star to a 3.

Faszold installed a complete overhaul of our heating and cooling system on 9-2-21. Since that time they have had been out to try and fix the numberous issues we've had with the Trane system. Even the technicians agree it runs way too loud and it actually had iced up last month (August 2022) requiring new parts to fix. Now, Dan Faszold and team have completely STOPPED RETURNING OUR CALLS 51 WEEKS from installation. They actually have been telling us they can't get a response from Trane. Please.

Our last conversation, Dan told us he would do whatever he couuld do to make it right. That was two weeks ago. Not one call since then. I hope they remedy this situation and, if they do, I will update this review accordingly.

Where to start! I had them out to check on 3 heat pumps in my home and needed a nest installed due to not knowing much about a heat pump. I had the appointment set up to have the nest installed and all 3 units looked and and gone over with my self to learn a little about how a heat pump works. I stressed to the lady making the appointment that I needed a seasoned tech that new about heat pumps and she said no problem, they would make sure they sent someone who knew what they where doing that was not the case. When the tech showed up he was lost before he started, had no clue what to do and said he was only there to install the nest. After 2hrs of finally getting the nest up and working, he said that I would have to schedule a new appointment to have the 3 unites gone though due to he having another call. When it was time to pay the bill the tech said he has only been working for Faszold a couple weeks and had no clue how to have me pay. Once he had the estimate ready he ran my card for another 100 dollars on top of what the estimate said and never gave me a final receipt. After reading the reviews I see the purchased by a private equity firm and it shows it cost me $446 to have someone install a nest! I would RUN AS FAST AND FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!

Jason showed up promptly and helped me figure out what the problem could be. After answering all of my questions and we tested everything he was on his way. While the problematic rattle couldn't be figured out, he did "fix" it after it was put back together. So all in all. I'm happy.

They responded same day to a technical issue. It was taken care of by John, an obviously experienced pro who is also very friendly to talk with. I continue to be impressed by this company.
