I've never left a negative review in my life but don't waste your time! There was a reason they had open appointments when others were booked up! We agreed to the higher fee for an emergency service in the evening. At 6:20 when they hadn't showed up we called and they said 2 hours. At 9:13 we called again and were told 20-30 minutes. We were nothing but polite despite the wait! At 10:10 he called to tell us no one was answering the door (we have family friends currently staying and working on the house for us). I told him I wasn't there but I'd call to let them know he was at the door. Our friends opened the door and he was gone. We called again at 10:13 and he said he had left, he wasn't coming back he said he wanted to go to sleep! Guess what us too but we've been up waiting for him! Wish I could give zero stars don't offer a service you don't actually provide!
I called Baird about my BARELY cooling air conditioner. They responded to my home less than two hours later! I got prompt, Thorough service as well as advice to prevent further issues. They returned the next day to insure all was well and did some follow up to make sure I didn't have further problems. Who DOES that? They do. Most importantly, the bill was remarkedly fair for excellent service. Highly recommend them!!!
Excellent service during one of the hottest days of the summer and, I assume, one of Baird's busiest days. I called for an appointment and less than two hours later Mike was on-site (a residence) and had the problem diagnosed and repaired within 15 minutes.
Scott showed up the same day that I called and serviced my HVAC for exactly what he quoted me. I was emailed and invoice, which I paid by phone a couple of days later. Easy Peezy.
I met bobby at a store and explained to him my issue with my air handler. He came over and and said that it can be fixed. He then called several places looking for an element to replace my damaged one, said he found one and that I needed to give him the money so he could order it. I agreed and gave him 250 bucks. The part came in and he came over and said that he needed more materials and I gave him another 100 bucks and he went to home depot and grabbed the materials (which was romex wire) came back and said on top of the 80 I gave him I needed to give him 40 more I didnt have any cash on me but the part he ordered did not fit and he said he would have to take it back. I said ok then when he went to put my furnace back together he said he was sorry but he broke something and that we would be out of heat for a few days till he can get it squared away. I wasnt happy with that and after all this he calls me and tells me I need to buy a new furnace and let him put it in totaling another 800 bucks! This guy here is a complete scam artist and didnt even bother telling me that he ordered the wrong part to begin with. Then tries to send me up to Baird electrical to buy a new furnace like he was doing me a favor! Please, if they send a guy out to yiu and his name is Bobby tell them you want another person because he will tear up your stuff and then tell you it wasnt his fault!
I am the CEO of a larger Reatoration company in Kansas City. We do a decent amount of HVAC work and Baird Heating and Cooling is one of our go to contractors. The owner is very responsive and well equipped to take care of all of work from duct work, furnace, condenser, commercial equipment and more.
- On time - On budget - Fast - Greay customer service.
Absolutely rude, two men working on our building came and parked in the ally blocking the majority of the ally had the nerve to have an attitude when our delivery driver asked them to move and expected us to walk our freight into the store from down the ally and made rude remarks about needing an extra 5 feet to back up when in fact we did need an extra five feet! After that I will make sure you guys are not on my list of heating and cooling or anyone I know.
Scotty was the 3rd and final hvac company to come out and actually fix the problem. The first 2 big name companies told me I needed to replace the whole unit.

Such amazing customer service. I called in the morning and had someone at my home that afternoon and was fixed at a very reasonable rate.
