Had an issue with the garbage disposal wiring. Service tech immediately tried to sell me their monthly maintenance plan. After a very brief look, and basically just flipping circuits on/off came back for 4 plausible repair plans, ranging from $887 to over $2000. And, he wasn't sure the $887 would fix the problem. Again he tried to sell the maintenance plans. I paid only for the basic house call. Used another company that fixed the wiring for about $300.

Also arrived about 20 minutes after the time range given.

We didn’t know we had an appointment. I call as soon as I got a text and told them not to come. He showed up anyway and said it was to repair a dryer. We don’t have a dryer problem. I called you office back upset you showed up anyway when I said don’t come. And I still have not heard anything from you guys.

Don't get tricked into buying the service plan that is considered "gold service plan". There is no 24 hour service. Although a nice guy, calling the 24 service number gets you to a guy that simply logs your problem over to AB May who isn't checking it. Three calls later back to the same gentleman, no progress on our after hours emergency. In fairness, we did finally get a call (that's all) from an AB May person; however, there is no 24 hour service so the service plan and the 24 hour language on the website is a mis-representation. I will say that AB May normal service is fine, just be aware of the service plan.

The technician, Nicholas, quickly evaluated my A/C system, explaining what he was testing each step of the way. My options were presented clearly, and the repair was completed in a timely manner.

AC was acting up. AB May came out on Sunday within 90 minutes of our call. They found a capacitor went out, plus the coils were packed with dirt and debris. Replaced the part and hosed down the whole unit. Looks and runs like new instead of a 9 year old one.

Out of town and of course our renter breaks off the outside hydrant. Big water leak. AB May wanted to charge us $567 to turn off the water, cut the line, cap it then turn water back on. My husband could do all that in a half an hour if we hadn't been 1500 miles away. NO THANKS AB MAY. Shameful pricing in an emergency situation that was easy to fix!!!
