Ideal Temp Heating & Cooling

Proud owner of a 17 year old HVAC system. Yesterday, my air conditioner wasn't cooling the house at all and got up to over 80 degrees. I inquired with several companies who couldn't get to me until Monday. I called Ideal Temp this morning and they had a technician here at 10 am.

Dre was fantastic. I can't say enough about how thorough he was with his inspection of not only the outside unit, but also the HVAC system itself. He explained what was happening and even showed me photos. He gave me an explanation of what the immediate need was in order to get the AC running cool again, but also informed me of the other issues that could cause a problem in the near future. He gave me pricing for those options without being a "salesman".

I think the best part was having the parts in the van for my ole betty of a unit, lol.

We have been customers with Ideal Temp for over 2 years now, and they have been nothing but the best for us as first time homeowners. We did a full system replacement in the spring 2020 due to the age of the previous system and everyone from Matt, the owner, to each technician made the process as simple as possible. They answered any questions we had and checked in to make sure everything was good to go with us after the install. A little less than a year ago, we wanted to upgrade to a smart thermostat so they came and installed it for us, due to the age of our house the wiring was a pain to say the least. They stuck with it and didn't show any signs of frustration. We will continuing our maintenance schedule with them through their Ideal Coverage Club! Ideal Temp is top knotch in all aspects of customer service in HVAC, which can be a nightmare for a lot of people.

I appreciate the thorough information about the system and the best short and long term options available to help me take care of it. Being friendly and helpful and never pushy makes the system check ups helpful, so I can budget for the things I want to do like having the ducts from 1979 cleaned asap.

Morgan did a great job explaining all of our options to my wife and I and was incredibly professional and friendly. He made us feel like we made a well informed choice.

Morgan was very nice. Was only here to do a check up but found out that we need a new furnace. We had just had them out last August to fix our air conditioner and it cost us quite a bit for repair then . He has told us that we will be compensated for that amount off of the furnace we’re going to have to buy now. They’re very professional and explains every detail. The last furnace that was put in was not done right and we have mold also. Luckily they have financing bc this is the worst time for us to have to do this financially. 😞 I thought having Them come out and check our furnace every other month was silly but now I’m glad they did. It wasn’t safe the way it is. I’d definitely recommend them.

Although Google allows you to schedule an estimate over the weekend, they are not actually available so keep that in mind.

We contacted Ideal Temp to replace our AC and furnace a few years ago after struggling with an aging system that just couldn’t keep up. This year we were having issues with it when it was 102° outside. They sent a tech over same day to fix the issue and check our system. They got us set up with a maintenance plan and parts warranty for years to come. After everything was up and running and the house was cool again, the tech let us know he was still seeing some numbers that weren’t lining up with what they should and he wanted to get another set of eyes on it. Per their protocol, they scheduled a field supervisor to come out to reinspect (at no additional cost) and make sure everything was checked and any issues were corrected. The field supervisor came out and was able to quickly diagnose and correct the problem, ensuring maximum productivity of our AC unit. Every tech we have had over the years has been professional, courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. They consistently go the extra mile to prevent future issues and guarantee their work! And a huge bonus? They have all been comfortable with our loud dogs and worked with us to set appointments that are compatible with our schedule! 10/10 would recommend!

The technician showed up prepared, on time, and KN95 masked without having to be asked. I was very impressed. I had paid for a maintenance in August for the full AC and heater, and they could not do the heater since it was too warm. Last week they called me to remind me I still needed the heater safety check (which I had long forgotten about). That was a level of service that was far beyond the norm and I cannot say enough awesome things about this company. I will keep their sticker on my unit for future needs!

We used Ideal Temp to replace both our AC and heating units and they also maintain our units. We couldn’t be happier with their service. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I really trust them to do the job right. The duct work they did in our basement was amazing, and we live in an older home, so I know it wasn’t easy. Caleb is our usual maintenance person, and he is always really helpful and makes sure we’re good for the upcoming season. We look forward to continuing to use them for our AC and heating needs!
