Fresh Air Heating & Cooling

Fresh Air Heating and Cooling has been my service company for over 15 years, and they have always done an outstanding job. They are reliable, trustworthy, and competent. My heating and cooling systems are very well maintained, and on the rare occasion that there is an unexpected issue, they quickly resolve it and charge a fair price. Their staff is professional and friendly, and I am always impressed with how knowledgable they are. I highly recommend this company.

After getting no response from my usual HVAC company and a couple others, someone recommended Fresh Air. We were in the middle of a heat wave when our AC went out. I am 70 years old and have a 16 yr old dog in poor health, a 15 & 14 year old cat, and a 7 year old dog. After almost 2 weeks without AC the older dog’s health was failing quickly and the rest of us were definitely suffering the effects of the heat (91 degrees is way too hot for an indoor temp!). I explained the situation to the Fresh Air employee on Friday and she made sure I was the next call on one of the tech’s lists. Joe arrived within an hour and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained my options. I decided to have him add refrigerant so we could have a comfortable weekend and scheduled a system replacement for Monday afternoon. I can’t say enough good things about this company! They are definitely first on my call list for HVAC issues from now on!!

Scheduling the appointment was quick and painless; the receptionist was sweet and courteous. The technician arrived within an hour, was also courteous, wore a mask and booties/footies, was knowledgeable and patiently helped me understand the possible issues and potential solutions. In less than an hour the technician had solved the issue. Kudos to Fresh Air H&C.

Fresh Air installed our heating and cooling system several years ago and has provided excellent service in maintaining the system ever since. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. The technicians are wonderful to work with, as well.

My scheduled appointment was 8-9am. The technician, Mr. Howard Wallace arrived promptly at 8:00am. He was wearing a mask and began checking out Furnance. He appeared to be doing a very professional job. He was very helpful in explaining what he had done and recommended future services that might be needed. I would like to use this technician for future services as needed.

When I spoke to their office initially, they could not tell me what the company charged per pound for R410A refrigerant (which should have been a red flag to me) but their inspection of the unit was less than others so I assumed they would be more reasonably priced. Anyway, the AC guy came out- first he insisted my AC was hooked up completely wrong. 2nd, He said I could not have a 3 ton heat pump connected to a 2 ton air handler- which freaked me out until I googled it and realized he did not know what he was talking about. Also said my lines were not attached correctly. He disappeared to his van for a moment- after he returned, he said, that it was in fact, okay. So I paid an incompetent repair man to tell me what I already learned via google. THEN he said the charge for 410A was $139.00 PER POUND, no matter how many pounds you need! That’s nearly triple what another company charges- and unlike others… the cost doesn’t change based on how many pounds you need! So if I need 8 pounds for my 3 ton AC- I would have to pay over $1000.00! If you have unlimited funds and nowhere else to spend your money, THIS is the place to go to.

Nick was extremely professional, friendly, courteous & knowledgeable on all matters! I was so impressed with the fast service & getting here so quickly after I put in the call that our main level A/C was not coming on-they were here in less than 90 minutes! Nick was so kind to take the time to answer all of my questions and offered explanations to questions I didn't even ask! Thank you Fresh Air & Nick for your excellent expertise & kind service!!! We've used you for years & am so happy we do!

I felt comfortable with the technician and his expertise. He diagnosed and got my AC running plus looked at the furnace and educated me on filters, etc. Very helpful.
