1000% would recommend Doug and his team for AC services. Read below on how Doug saved the us from a hot miserable weekend. We had a DIFFERENT company come to the house for a general maintenance call which was covered under our home warranty less a $100 deductible. This other company was there for all of 10 minutes and only looked at the outside condenser. He refused to look at the air handler because it was in the attic and would have to get his ladder off the truck he said and wasn't needed. So he just unscrewed the panel on the outside unit, looked inside said it all looked good and screwed it back on. He then sprayed the outside unit with the garden hose and called it complete....all was fine. 4 hours later we had no working AC unit. When calling them back they said they were booked out for the next week and could not come back even though they obviously did something to stop the unit from working. Obviously I was not too happy about this seeing it was now 9PM and 87 degrees inside and August is days away. Enter Doug with Aire Ser / BFS Heating and Cooling. I called them next and they sent someone right over. Within minutes he figured out the previous companies tech had drilled a hole into one of the coils when putting the screw back in for the outside cabinet. He said it would be around $700 to fix and proceeded to work it out with the warranty company so we didn't have to repay the deductible or a dime at all. Job was done within an hour and AC back up and working! Thanks Doug and Joe!!
I've been doing business with Doug and his team for over 10 years now. They bring provide professionalism, pricing, and knowledge rarely seen in this industry. I trust them and will continue to use them going forward. Could not be happier.
Brian Anderson is one of their very best technicians. We have never been disappointed with their service. Whether it is a repair or a replacement, you should call Aire Serv.
I called to request a quote to install a bathroom vent, and was told I'd have to pay a $249 "diagnostic fee". I asked what they were diagnosing, as there is not currently a vent fan, and they did not seem to understand. Absolute waste of time. You can't charge somebody $249 to write a quote and actually expect to get business. (Plus, imagine how overpriced they must be if a quote alone for a basic, straight duct on a single story house is $249...)
I wouldn't even give them a star. I had appointment today 1:00pm nobody showed up or called. I phoned them 3times and each time left my phone #. Finally got through and 1 1/2 later. He told me the tech didn't have my #. The tech finally came in another 15 minutes he said he didn't know where he was supposed to go. it is 88 degrees today so I waited. He hooked up the testing equipment and told me my a/c recharge was going to cost me $500, the freon is really expensive. Now I said to myself how does he know how much it needs and it's $500. plus the trip charge of $89. I phoned my husband and we decided we were not going to use this company. We phoned someone else and they came out right away. The recharge was $150. 2lbs of freon. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
I’d give 0 stars if I could. My AC went out on the 4th of July and we were having people over that day so I started calling companies early in the morning to see who could get out to me first and for the best price. I spoke to a girl on the phone and she said someone could be out by 1 and it would be $100 fee for the trip. It was $50 less than another place so I cancelled the other appointment and went with them. 3:00 came around and I hadn’t heard anything from anyone there so I called and the girl couldn’t tell me anything because her system was down but would contact the people and have them call me. I didn’t get a call so I called back at 4 and requested another call and then I got one and was next up. So the guy finally gets out around 5PM and looks at stuff and says I need a new system. He could give me a “bandaid” that would last anywhere from a month to maybe the end of summer by adding Freon for a price tag of $750. I said no thanks. I can get a new system the next week. Then he tells me I owe $270 just for him coming out! What?! The person on the phone said it was $100. He said it’s $100 for the trip but it’s this muck more for this and this much more for this. (That was not explained to me) so I said ok just put the stuff in so we don’t have to rush on the new system and maybe it will cool down by then so it won’t be as bad when it’s off when they install it. He put in a couple gallons and that was it. I paid $750 and he was gone. 1 WEEK LATER the AC goes out AGAIN! I called to say I want either a partial refund or someone to come out and put another “bandaid” on so I can have AC for the weekend. It’s 90 degrees today and I don’t have AC because they wouldn’t stand behind their work or what the worker told me. I would NEVER have paid $750 for 1 week of AC. If he said there was a chance of it not working for a month I would have not paid that. This place is terrible. They charge MORE than what they say they will for the trip and do not stand behind their work. Stay clear from them. There no way 2 gallons of Freon should be $750. I got screwed so I’m trying to help others from getting the same. I’m not happy sitting in my 80 degree house right now when last week I shelled out so much money!!!
Just had Jim Hill come and fix my furnace. He was wonderful. So efficient, answered all my questions and told me what to expect down the road . I highly recommend them and Jim Hill.

Nathan was very helpful explaining my humidifier and fixing the leak. He was great to work with on the furnace tune up as well.
