ThermoPro Heating and Cooling

Had a new AC unit installed 9/2019. Worked fine through Fall and Spring. When weather turned warm in 2020, it could not keep up. Called the company and they said it checked out but might need more freon and they would stop back to do that. When I called to inquire why they had not been back, this time I was told the unit is full of freon and that better window coverings were needed for it to work even though it worked fine previously. Never heard from them again and had to call a second company who installed 1/2 lb. of freon to get it working properly. I am not happy to have to call a second company to finish the work that ThermoPro was paid to do to begin with. This company is not good at following up and solving the problem.

Avoid them at all costs. Save yourself the headache and hire ANYONE else. I had them install a new AC unit. They have been out more than 5 times due to water coming through my ceiling under the new unit, which ruined my carpet and I have a hole in my ceiling I have been unable to repair due to the constant leaking. I finally called a different HVAC company and was told it will cost me $2500 to fix the work they did. I would give zero stars if I could.

Edit: I love that this business just ridicules everyone that gives them a bad review. Honestly, ask yourself if you would ever want to use a company that refuses to stand behind their work. My review is very honest and a warning to anyone that is looking for HVAC work. The AC unit they installed leaked for over a year onto the carpet in the living room below. They know this and are very aware of the issue. They got letters from my attorney requesting to fix the issue, which they ignored.

Greed? What did I get out of this business? I actually had to pay real professional HVAC techs to come in and fix the job they messed up, as well as drywall repair. As an attorney, I would never post an untrue negative review of someone because that would be libel. My review is 100% accurate. These guys cost me a LOT of money to fix their terrible work they refused to stand behind.

I can't recommend Tim from ThermoPro more highly. I live out of state and my dilemma in trying to find a contractor to deal with sight unseen when looking to install central heat and air in my Toledo house was a pain to say the least. One company didn't want to touch the job since it's a rental property. When asked why the response was that's just their policy. Wow, business must be good for them. The next group was professional but their price was really over the top and to be honest they just didn't offer a lot of alternatives. It was pretty much a take it or leave it type proposal. I actually found Tim from ThermoPro on Craigslist. I figured what the heck I wasn't getting any satisfaction googling 4-5 star companies and at that point I didn't feel I had much to lose. When I talked to Tim it was immediately clear that he knew what he was talking about and he came right to the point about what he could do at what price point. In short, he did what he said he was going to do when he said he would do it for what he said he'd do it for. But Tim went beyond that. He addressed several other items that needed to be done and did not try to nickel and dime me for those things. He even sent pics of all the work and had the job done in a single day. So in closing, if you need a guy who can get it done for you in a timely fashion without any run around and for a very competitive price you can save yourself a lot of time and grief not to mention quite a bit of money if you just go ahead and call Tim. He will definitely take care of you. Very professional. Top notch craftsmanship.

Don't waste your money, we are out $3,150.00! Scheduled to have a new furnace installed 1/10/18 and paid cash. Tim did not show up on the 10th and had no excuse to give when we called. He installed it on the 11th, but failed to glue the pipes together which rattled apart even after he GLUED THE FURNACE TO THE WALL! The vent pipe through the roof never got sealed and we have water leaking every time it rains. I've called them for inspection, but messages left on the answering machine do not get returned. Yesterday the A/C unit for which he installed the coil for would not shut off. I tried calling but got no answer. I called at 8:30am today and left a message for which the call was not returned until I asked them on Facebook if they were on vacation. Upon telling the receptionist it was urgent as I have someone with breathing issues, 10 hours and a run around later I call back only to be told there's no one that can come out and I get the 3rd degree as to what is written on my invoice regarding a warranty! I would not recommend this company as they do not stand behind their work! If I could give zero stars I would!!

Such a wonderful company. They worked with my schedule to set a appointment. Fast, friendly, knowable servicemen. Great rates. I will call them for all my heating/cooling needs. I highly recommend them

Called them for a Boiler tune up/cleaning and repair. The person who scheduled appointments was professional and she was very kind! The service man was professional and informative. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns. I will be calling ThermoPro again.

Tim is awesome! Right on time and doesn't try to sell u things u dont need. Good prices. I highly recommend this company and we will be using him again soon for more !

Furnace died on a cold Sat. morning. Tim came out and had it fixed same day with very reasonable prices for weekend hours. We will use them again.

I am so happy I called Thermopro, I live in a mobile home & my central air was not working. They came out on a Saturday & got it working again. I would recommend them to all my family & friend's. Thank you so much.
