Can't say enough good things about Mastercraft. EVERYONE we have ever worked with from heating/cooling to plumbing has been amazing to us. Marc just left and I ran to my computer to leave this review. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them! (As of June, 2021 - they are still the BEST! Steve and Jeff have been working with us on a new AC unit for my boutique and they have been so great. Very lucky to have this business locally!)

If I could give 0 stars I would. The installers damaged the door to the furnace room and left a mess with rusty screws on the carpet. When I called Steve to inquire about what he would do about the door he said send me the info and then ghosted me from then on. For a lousy $125 door replacement he is willing to lose us as a customer. Never again!

I got 5 quotes from various companies and they came in significantly lower with a high quality Trane AC/Furnace. I wasn’t sure how the quality of the job was until a friend of mine came over who works for another HVAC company and he was impressed with their work - down to the little detail. In any event you have to do your research and be able to negotiate to get a good deal but this company will work with you to find a good system that fits your price range.

Based on my experience with Mastercraft Heating and Cooling, I would not recommend them. My furnace stopped working on a Sunday in February, the flame sensor was bad. I was able to get it running again and then I called their emergency line, the tech called me back and then refused to come service the furnace since I had managed to get it running.

They instead came a few days later and told me I needed an entire new furnace. I didn't believe them, but I wasn't home and really had no other option as I needed to have it running reliably. They took the old furnace with them, so I can't say either way if it needed to be replaced or not, I took them at their word.

What I came home to how ever, was a mess. Wiring everywhere, safety cover not on and the safety switch jumped out, and the duct work not hooked up. It took them a MONTH to come back out and finish the job.

When they finally did come back, they failed to reconnect the A/C system, so they just had to come back and finish that, a full 2 months after they started the job. I paid for they to pull a permit, I've still seen no proof they pulled a permit, nor has the city been out to inspect their work. Unfortunately I'll be forced to deal with them until the warranty expires on this furnace.

Mastercraft was able to replace corroded pipes on my tankless water heater while salvaging a custom fitting, saving me about $100.00. The repair was fast, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

Oscar is customer focused. He listens carefully to the us and explains things so we can understand. He's detail oriented and makes sure the job is done correctly before leaving. He's very thorough and makes sure the area he worked in is clean when he's done.

I am a very satisfied customer. In October Mastercraft installed an Empire room heater in my home. In January it started making this loud popping noise when heating up. A technician was sent out on a Saturday but by the time he left the noise returned. I called on Tuesday 2/2/2021 and Oscar came out. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to listen to the problem. He resolved the issue and stayed to let the heater heat through 3 cycles to be sure the noise was gone. Thank you Mastercraft and Oscar!

I had Mastercraft replace my HVAC system. The initial process in July was amazing. The units were installed in September 2021 and to date the permits still have not been pulled and no inspections made on my property.

Every time I call I have to leave a message and nothing gets done.

It has been 2.5 months, no permits, no inspections. Disappointing.

Oscar is a very professional and knowledgeable service person who is very customer oriented.
He came to our home post installation of a new HVAC system to resolve two problems.
1. Install an isolation relay between the heating system humidifier and Nest thermostat
2. Check the flow of air at each problem room that were either too hot or too cold
Oscar’s knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems proved to me that the isolation relay was not required. He had the correct tools to accurately measure the amount of air velocity at each register within each room of the house. Using the tools we were able to find out that the system was correctly balanced so that all rooms were getting an adequate amount of heat or air conditioning.
However, Oscar went the extra mile and found a problem that the manufacturer left in the system which was making a disappointing sound.
We highly recommend requesting Oscar if it all possible to work on your HVAC system!
