Excellent service today from this company. Called at opening, and they were able to come and troubleshoot and fix. I have to say, I took the day off work for this specific issue, and, while I understand customers have busy schedules and would rather make appointments, if the company says they will take care of you that day, you might be wise to make yourself available for the fixing of your issue! (or maybe it just wasn't all that important...) Communication throughout the day/process was good. FOLLOW-UP: They came back to fix something the next day, then fried the circuit board on the furnace, because they mistakenly thought the OLD THERMOSTAT wires (that they didn't switch out when they installed the new thermostat) were some sort of Ground wires! Apparently there were bare spots and we got an arc from them.They mistakenly told me I had electrical issues,(because they didn't recognize those wires as the old thermostat wires) and bolted from my house, never to be heard from again. While this furnace is not yet paid in full, I have paid an electrician (who was in total disbelief this company had left the old thermostat wires, and was even in more disbelief they hadn't figured out what wires they were looking at.) to come in and troubleshoot. Took him all of five minutes to ascertain those were the old thermostat wires. Also paid out for another circuit board /electrical service because Advanced had shorted it out and it was no longer under warranty. Prompt in answering phone calls? You bet! Promptness in answering phone calls does not equate with correct service...lesson learned.
Called them to put in a new airconditioner on my father's home in Redford and they were very professional. Quick to respond to any additional calls my father had regarding to how to work his new temperature control since he forgot how to work it. They were so patient with him. Highly recommend.
Advanced H&C did a great job for replacing my Furnace and Water Heater with very competitive price. Norm gave me a very detailed and professional quotation. And Very professional job has been done by Dee and Razak. The space is very tight but they still performed great job and finish all of them with 3 hours! I will definitely recommend them to my friends who are considering installing or replacing HVAC system or water heaters.
It's said they charged me 150 dollars to tell me to call the person who installed my furnace because it looks to new to have went out. This company is a joke so is his worker I wish that when he came out he told me he didn't want to work for me and that he really didn't know how to repair a 90 percent furnace. He came out twice and couldn't fix the problem.
IF I could give this company a ZERO rating I would! Terrible all around. -Missing appointment times by HOURS. -Shows up randomly to my house when I specifically asked to text me when on the way so that way I can leave work. -In a rush like he’s late for the next appointment. -I keep having to call the company back MULTIPLE TIMES because the issue is not resolved and IT’S STILL NOT RESOLVED. I’ve gotten fed up with it and had to call another company to fix the issue. I wasted TIME and MONEY. It all went down the drain.

Today I was just told they have thousands of dollars worth of work and contracts so my furnace tuneup placed low on their to do list! This so called business does crappy business! So unless you have two hours to waste sitting at home waiting on them to show up... DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!
Update: I was asked by Norm to allow the company to come out and do a tune up free of charge. At that point I didn’t want these people in my house. He suggested the same guy who did a no call no show twice. I said certainly NOT. I did allow the owner Marcel to come out and do the tune up. He showed up and seemed nice and was professional even though my appointment was supposed to be next Monday. He advised me about my humidifier and I think I will be giving the company another chance to see if they can get that working for me again.
This company is a joke. I worked with basically all of the employees and got passed around from one person who didn't know squat to the next. The owner Marcel ignores my calls, wouldn't take responsibility for any of his employees mistakes, which there was a lot, and its been 4 months and my heat is still not working. I have to hire another company who actually knows what they're doing to fix all the mistakes that were made. The "manager" Brian is like the other employees, doesn't take responsibility for anything that goes wrong and "definitely isn't his fault." Not sure how these guys are still in business. I was very specific with what I wanted and was quoted for, and they missed the bar on every level. BUYER BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Had a AC unit installed they never pulled a permit and they are refusing to pull one. Plus they never gave me a written receipt. Nor did the fill out a certification sheet with Redford. Won't answer phone and won't return messages. Horrible company wish I had did my research before hiring this Company.
Marcel and his team are truly amazing! Our furnace went out on a Sunday and they came out promptly on Monday morning and replaced it. Marcel is fair in his pricing and gave us lots of options to consider. Great experience and service! I would highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling!"
I just wanted to share my experience with Advanced Heating and Cooling. I had water leaking from my ac unit over the weekend and needed someone to take a look at this it. It a newer unit 2015 so I never had it serviced. I called the company that installed it. To say they were rude would be an understatement. I will never call Family Heating and Cooling ever again. I called another company in the Redford area was was told that “I better get back with him soon if I wanted to be seen today “. I called Advanced and spoke to Heather she was pleasant, respectful and just a joy to talk to. She told me that they might not be able to see me until Thursday, but she would call me and let me know.
She called me back and got me in today and earlier than expected. Marcel and his assistant looked at my AC and fixed it in less than 15 mins at a reasonable price. I’ve been looking to get a home generator and I’ve already called to make an appointment for that. Great customer service and great repair service. It’s hard to find good service with a good attitude. I found it with Advanced Heating and Cooling. PW
