I can’t say enough about this company! Their employees are pleasant, professional, respectful and timely. I have 5 commercial properties and personal property- I use them for ALL of them. The quote, “you’ve tried the rest, now try the best…” describes this company. I HAVE used several area HVAC companies- I didn’t know I should be expecting more, until I started working with Michiana. Everyone was very helpful they replaced an old furnace and central air conditioning with a few pipes in one day and with no heat I was very grateful. It was a little pricey but what isn't these days. But they had great financing. Thank you Michiana Heating for the quick work

Technician took 1.5 hours to troubleshoot and then told me the system had no refrigerant and would need 5lbs at $175 per lb. It takes a good tech about 5 minutes to determine if a system is low on refrigerant. Goff Heating and Air replaced the thermal expansion valve and unit is fixed. I called 3 times to ask the GM to return my call for a refund on the $129 charge and he wouldnt return my call. I had to go there to get my money back. I would avoid them at all costs. Technician couldnt figure out what was wrong, so he lied about no refrigerant in system and apparently their management doesn’t like to return calls on a legitimate complaint.

Jim Drew is a great asset to an already strong professional staff. We had tricky problem and Jim successfully solved it. He refused to give up until he analyzed the problem and figured out a fix for it. It was frustrating and time consuming but he stayed with it until it was resolved. Great guy. My husband and I highly recommend.

Two Thumbs up for the Fireplace Shoppe division of Michiana Heating and Air Conditioning! It was an exceptionally difficult installation and to make matters worse the unit installed proved to be defective. It took time to find and correct the situation but with the perseverance of the Fireplace Shoppe manager and the diligence of the Regency technicians this very difficult and confusing defect was corrected. I now have a very beautiful, efficient and high quality unit giving me warmth and beauty that I can count on for years to come.

Set up a preventative maintenance service call and the service tech that came out came into my house with no tools, was there for 10 minutes, said he was done and left. I checked the furnace and found that it was not cleaned and my air filter was not even replaced.
The office called to collect the fee and I told them what happened. They said a Manager would call me, but that never happened.
Fast forward 3 weeks, my furnace quit working- surprise, surprise. Called again, had to pay $130 for the visit to learn the part was not stocked and it would be a week. Oh and by the way they say, you still owe us for the PM service! What? Absolutely not! I am not paying for services that were not rendered.
Stay away from this place. Service is horrible and the business practices are shady.
I wish Burkett was still in operation- they were wonderful.
Also, I found the part online myself and had it in 2 days. We now have heat - no thanks to this place.

The tech, I think his name is Derrick, was very courteous. He explained the issue and fixed the problem. If we have any more issues we will definitely use Michiana Heating.

Kudos! They answered my call, asked the correct questions, and sent someone out same day to fix our problem. Since it was very cold out, getting our furnace working again was critical.
Communications were stellar. We appreciated getting an email introducing the service rep in advance.
