I bought a new Daikin top of line, fully modulating furnace and AC unit from Comfort1 in late October of 2014. I obtained quotes from several dealers, but I really wanted the Daikin as the warranty on secondary heat exchanger, as well as a unit which is comprised of "off the shelf components" instead of "specialized, manufacturer specific" versions of a similar product (read: specialized items = expensive to replace).

Sales process was good, and offered to sell me the next model down (for lower price) but I wanted the best they offered. Price wasn't the cheapest (although it was the only Daikin price I had) but it did seem fair.

Installation was done same week - our furnace had quit altogether, and it was getting cold! Due to age of previous system, we elected to replace the AC unit and furnace as a set.

Comfort1 did a great job throughout, and I would not hesitate to use them again or refer to others.

I started working for Comfort 1 in fall of 2007. Since then, I have seen a few changes in processes in the company. However, since coming on board with the Aire Serv National Franchise, I finally feel we are on the right path for great success and top notch customer service. As the Office Manager, I get to be involved in many facets of the company and am proud to be a part of what we are becoming. I have always strived to maintain my integrity and offer my skills to help the company reach success. Without the companies success, I couldn't have my career here. The owners, Mike Kyser and Eileen Caramela have passion and compassion in what they do and for their employees! 5-Stars from me to my work family! Here's to many more years!

At a local Home Show, I won a free a/c tune-up. When scheduling the appt, I asked if the serviceman could change the filter during the tube-up. I was told he could, but I would have to pay for the filter, which I agreed to do.

When the serviceman arrived he removed the old filter and said it would cost $211 for parts & labor (filters are $32 for five at Amazon). I explained that I was only to pay for the filter, so please put the old filter back in place. He refused, saying that would be illegal. I said he should leave it the same way he found it, with filter in place.

Called the office manager and offered to compromise and pay $100 to have new filter inserted. She became unpleasant in tone stating, "We do not barter!" She told serviceman to pack up and leave.

I now have no filter in my a/c and unable to replace it myself.

My goal in scheduling was to obtain recommendations on a/c replacement in a few years. I will not be using this company!!

Great customer service and price! Honest, prompt and no upselling. They will be my vendor of choice moving forward.

when the company represenative came i was amaised how much information he gave about the company and there garentee, also telling me all there emloyees are checked thru the state and national data base for prior arrest and what they were convicted of before they hire them they must get a clean review back, i never thought of that but he said in this day expence wise and customer safty they dont want a fellon coming in your home.
then gave me a thoural estimate of cost and also explaining everything answer all questions was not in any rush at all. price wise company garentee and knowledgable staff i had already met in the spring i had no question not to have aire serve replace my central air.

I called and within the hour they had figured out the problem, told me the price which was more than reasonable. Everything was handled and all employees I spoke with (sorry I'm bad with names) were helpful and attentive to my issues. I would recommend to anyone in the area if they have house troubles.
