Aire Serv of Southern Michigan

I had a great experience with Aire Serv of Southern Michigan. they came out to check on my AC not working and I was told that my unit could not be fixed because it was too old (22 years old) I had them price out a new unit and the price was very reasonable. They were out THE NEXT DAY to replace the unit (I was told that they couldn't always do this but they happened to have the unit I chose in stock and they completed another job early). Eric Hughes was the installing technician and he did an awesome job. when I came home from work the AC was running and he was finishing cleaning up. the basement looked better when he left than when he got there. The install was done and everything was checked and double checked. They showed me how to change the new filter and even how to program my thermostat even though they didn't install that. I was very pleased with the quality, courtesy, and professionalism that this company showed and was so impressed I thought I would write this review. I would recommend them to anyone. especially Eric Hughes as an installing tech. I had them install a special allergy filter and that is working awesome as well.

After seeing positive reviews I decided to give this company a try. (Look closely as half of the people who left reviews for this company have only done so once ever).

Had a tech come out to repair a mini split. Was told it would cost $800 to repair my unit. Price was much higher than I expected but it was hot and we needed AC. Go ahead. (This condenser btw retails for less than a $1000.)

The Technician later comes back and says that the hes finished BUT the mini split actually had something else wrong with it and its going to cost an additional $2400 to fix. Had he told me that there was a chance the repairs could amount to a total of $3200, I would of asked this company to leave my facility immediately and never allowed them to start working.

Long story short, I want to thank Mike and his team for getting me to stick $800 in a unit that was thrown out and replaced by another for a fair price (different company). Spoke with the owner several times, didn't really get anywhere so I'll chalk it up as a loss.

Mike- You made several attempts to apologize, I didn't accept them then, I won't accept the one you write on your response either. This is the type of review you deserve for what your company did. I gave you an opportunity to make it right, you chose not to.

For anyone reading this, please get competitive quotes from other companies. Don't make a mistake snap decision like I did because of desperation as it will only cost you more. My opinion.

Totally trustworthy and prompt. I have used them for my residence and for my place of business. Amazing technicians.

We were very happy with our service call and our service tech Doug. He showed up early, listened to my Husband, and then found the problem within 10 minutes and gave us 3 options. Doug answered our questions and told us about the inspection they could perform at no cost to us, a company policy. He was doing what he could to save us money and was very polite and knowledgeable. We did not need a furnace now but we know who we will call when we do and who we will tell our Friends about!

Zac at Aire Serv was very professional and took the time to explain things in terms I could understand. Kristian and Bryan did a great job on the install and were always considerate.

Let me start by saying the response time was excellent! My furnace stopped working late into the evening. With it being the middle of Winter in Michigan the temps outside were going to get cold overnight. I called Aire Serv and they came right out. The service technician was very nice and diagnosed the problem almost instantly. What I like about Aire Serv is not only the fast response but also their honesty. They could have got me for a lot of money, but instead the service technician cleaned the part, verified the parts operation and charged me a minimal after hours fee. To me this was very thorough. He also checked a few other functions in my furnace and he was done. I highly recommend Aire Serv. Will use them again if need be.

Grant, my initial service technician was especially great! He was able to find the root-cause of the issue I was having and solve it. I have had another company in the area come out many times in the past over the last few years, and they were never able to figure out a long-term solution.

I also ended up needing to get a new HE furnace, and the install team was great. Very professional and very high quality work.
I will definitely be using AireServ for all my future HVAC needs, and will be recommending them to all my friends.

Knowledgeable service person measured many performance related specifications. After some cleaning & adding 1lb of refrigerant, re-measured specs. A little pricey for adding refrigerant.

From the quote to the installation to the service call and yearly maintenance, everyone I have worked with from this company has been courteous and professional. And thanks to their recommendations on the AC and furnace we installed, my electric bills have gone down by almost half.
