Randazzo Heating & Cooling

Randazzo replaced our furnace and AC a couple years ago. We went with a 99% efficient furnace, which at the time with rebates and discounts was cheaper than the standard 80% unit. It really saved us this winter when Consumers Energy doubled gas rates.
We've been really happy with the product, and happy with the "careguard?" annual maintenance service that came with the equipment. All of the techs who have come out have been professional, courteous, and have indulged my curiosity by patiently answering my million questions. The most recent tech, "4" Justin H was super nice, answered all my questions, and got us all squared away for the season.

Charlie & Chris from Randazzo Heating and Cooling were incredible! They were on-time, neat as a pin, and their quality of work was impeccable. Their attention to detail, fit, testing, and explanation of thermostat programming were a perfect 10.

The same can be said about their sales Representative, Mike. Every question was answered, he provided four quotes for Lenox systems from good to best on one easy to read proposal. When the job was done the cost was EXACTLY what his proposal stated. Mike arrived on time as scheduled and explained the new rebates available on high efficiency systems.

The entire Randazzo team from office staff, sales, and installation technicians have been wonderful to deal with.

My furnace wouldn't kick on all the way so I had them come out to troubleshoot the problem. They told me I needed a new circuit board which I got charged over $800 for. When he installed it the furnace still wasn't working. He then replaced the thermostat and then it worked. Seems to me that they charged me over $800 for something I didn't even need. Two days later it got hot outside and the now the ac wouldn't work. My husband called and they wouldn't send someone out to see what happened for free. I then called 911 Heating and Cooling and they came out the same day because of my health issues and can't tolerate the heat very well. When they came in they checked the thermostat and the ac wire wasn't even attached. I will never use Randazzo again! No apologies from them at all for them not coming to fix their own screw up or charging me so much for something I didn't even need.

Justin and Aiden were very professional and meticulous in their work and didn’t just do their installation of a Lennox Top of the Line HVAC system but performed their artistry with an eye to each minute detail. I am grateful to have them for our crew. Highly recommend.

Jacob Shastachuk, the installer was here and ready to work promptly at 9:30. He kept me informed throughout the day how progress was going. By the end of the day, I had my brand new system put in. Jacob, made sure that the area was completely cleaned, and everything was done properly before leaving the house. I didn’t realize how good this system was really going to be. I had the best night sleep in years, I didn’t have to throw the covers off because I was hot or throw the covers on because I was cold, and my nose wasn’t stuffed up all night long thanks to the humidity package. I am over the moon about this company and it’s products, so much so, that my father, who lives in Cleveland wants to set up the same package that I got. Wonderful company, great employees and even better prices.

Hired Randazzo to replace a 31 year-old builder-installed residential HVAC system whose AC component finally needed a repair that was not worth pursuing. All interaction with the company and its representatives has been professional and courteous. Quote was competitive, with all options fully explained and five final configurations presented by Carl, the representative who paid the sales call. All work that would be done was also explained in the sales visit, as modifications to the house in conjunction with the selected options meant that some additional work would be required.

I was glad to be able to schedule an install only 1 week out from my sales visit and worked with Randazzo representatives on obtaining financing through a separate company. The installation crew of Justin, Pete, Aiden, and Andrew did an outstanding job, asking questions when needed, and were very careful when performing the demo and install. The new system and its basic maintenance was explained to us when all was done and a review of the work performed (and how it might have needed to vary from what was presented originally) was also given. They were thorough in their clean-up, making sure that the basement and their staging area outside were back in the condition they were upon arrival.

I had seen their commercials for years and when it was time to pull the trigger on getting this major project (in scope and expense) done, included them in my list of companies to contact. Their jingle prompts you to "go with the name you know". I ultimately did just that, and have been glad I did.

Had a wonderful experience with the guys. A whole crew came out and took care of new ac install, move furnace to the attic, duct work and vents and thermostat install. Very professional. Answered all questions and then some. Highly recommend. Thank you Randazzo!

I am beyond impressed with this company. EVERY person that came out was friendly. The sales/ quote guy Brian was fantastic. First time ever I did not feel pressured one bit to spend more than I needed. He was very honest about what was a need vs a want. All 3 of the men that came out for installation were great as well. I was dreading having to be home all day with people I don't know, but it turned out fine. I had no idea the amount of work they would be doing. They had to work on the roof, attic, crawl space, put new plumbing...etc. you name it they did it ALL IN ONE DAY and left it cleaner than it was. I will definitely be recommending Randazzo.

The technician was personable on time and very helpful. He explained all the services he did clearly, and he was very thorough as well. He showed me the humidifier element was bad and I had him replace it. The price was exactly as quoted. We are very pleased with Randazzo.

I shopped around to four HVAC shops when I needed a new furnace and AC for my house. It amazing how much spread in cost between competition (almost double for some) - don’t go with the first guy to quote! That being said - Ryan is a great sales guy and knows what he’s doing. As an engineer, I know enough about HVAC to be dangerous so I could tell if he tried to sell me snake oil and he never did - he was straight up and offered options and was very clear the advantages or disadvantages of each. It just so happens that Randazzo was the best value for the package I selected. They sell Lennox which I found is one of the top systems on Consumer Reports even though some other brands offer lifetime warranty - I think it might be because they have to. The install team showed up right on time and worked all day to finish the install (which was also unique as most places quoted 2 days of work). They were very respectful and walked me through all of the new equipment after they were complete. I know good workmanship and I’m very impressed with this team. There’s a few areas that my neurotic brain thinks they could have done slightly different but honestly it’s top tier. We’ll see how it all works out but I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asks (though you should still shop other places just to be sure).
