Jeff was fantastic to work with. He was responsive, professional, and explained what he was going to complete and why. When our furnace stopped working, I was referred to Maheu Mechanical and he made sure we were taken care of same day! You can tell that Jeff is meticulous and enthusiastic about his work, something that sets him apart from most others. He cares about people and that the job is done to an exceptional degree. We are very pleased and would recommend Maheu Mechanical to everyone. We will certainly be calling again when help is needed.

I was in dier need when my furnaces went out, it was in the middle of winter and freezing cold in the house, I called Maheu Mechanical and it was the best call I could have ever made, Jeff came out immediately the same day and got one of my furnaces running to prevent a pipe from bursting.
Since then I have gotten both furnaces replaced with high efficient furnaces and humidifiers, working great!

Great service from these guys. Furnace went out and they walked us through exactly why it stopped running. Ended up replacing the unit same day. Installed enough to the point where it would function while some parts showed up overnight. Came in the next day and finished the job. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently had Maheu Mechanical replace our air conditioner and furnace. I cannot say enough positive things about Jeff Maheu and his team! They were professional and friendly, and the entire team was very knowledgeable. I apologized for interrupting with a question and their response was, "You are not bothering us at all, please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like." Also, Jeff was very kind and generous in helping me deal with my home warranty company, he knew exactly how to handle the situation. Did I mention they're tidy? My furnace room was cleaner when they left than before they came! They stayed late to get the job done right, which I appreciated. Jeff heard a strange clicking noise near our fuse box, so he called the electrician back to come out and look at it, even though it had nothing to do with the furnace/AC. Above and beyond. Friendly. Caring. All around wonderful!

I am so impressed with the expertise and professionalism of Maheu Mechanical. Jeff Maheu, the owner, serviced my +20-year-old gas furnace that needed repair today! It stopped working just before the temps are starting to dip. Brrrr!!! He troubleshooted the issue and advised what needed to be done to ensure my furnace was working properly including: cleaning out a spider web in one of the burner openings, repairing a fried wire, and replacing the igniter. He also blew out the dust and sediment around and inside the repair area and vacuumed the floor immediately around the furnace. Also, advised me about things I may want to do next year to keep the system running dependably and safely. I plan to call his service for future replacement of my air conditioner next year. Jeff was very pleasant and considerate while in my home. I highly recommend his service to anyone needing heating and cooling expertise, repair and/or installation. Back to cooking with gas! My furnace stopped working and Jeff came out within a really short time frame. He diagnosed our issue within no time and had our furnace up and running again after some blowing, cleanup, and resetting and gave us really good advice on ensuring optimal use for the future. Reasonable pricing as well, definitely going to them in the future if I have any HVAC needs, including inspecting my chimney in the Spring to ensure proper ventilation. 10/10 highly recommended!

We just had our HVAC system replaced including a new furnace, new hot water tank, new AC, moving the AC from one side of the house to the other side, and removed and disposed a very old not working solar powered hot water tank. Jeff and his crew did an excellent job and we were very pleased with the result. Jeff and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. Jeff came out and trouble-shooted our 19 MONTH old furnace, when the company that installed it, couldn't, after two tries, and left me with a mess and bailed on me. He and the electrician he works with, figured out the "why" and the "what" and even the "when" and now I have heat! So grateful for the honest work of this company! I will NOT call any other heating/mechanical business again--this one's a keeper!

The people that work for Maheu Mechanical are a fantastic group! The same day we called them, they were out to look at the furnace and figure out what was happening.
At no point did I ever feel like they were making me do anything. We went over the options, and they said, if I wanted, they could come out and do a repair on the furnace (our furnace was old and better off replaced).
We did go with the furnace replacement, to which I say, they were fantastic, always polite and didn't mind our dog. You can't ask for a nicer company to come out to your house!

Called Jeff out due to my furnace not heating up. He came and clicked a couple buttons on the thermostat and then it started working. Super thankful for that and he cleaned a small pipe near the burner that could cause they furnace not to heat up in the future. Bummed about paying the $125 emergency fee for a quick service, but understandable due to it being 3AM and not having heat. Thank you!
