Reliable Heating & Cooling

Reliable Heating and Cooling came to my rescue! I woke up Saturday morning to a freezing cold house. My old furnace wouldn't stay on no matter how much I fiddled with the thermostat, so I sent an SOS message to Thomas at Reliable Heating and Cooling. I have used Reliable for my rental properties in Grand Rapids and they are terrific. Even though it was a Saturday, Thomas responded to my text message within 5 minutes. He sprang into action and arranged for a service tech to arrive within an hour. Kenton, the service tech, arrived promptly. After listening to my tale of woe, Kenton methodically examined the furnace and the thermostat. He found a defective switch that was not permitting the furnace to cycle on and off properly and corrected the problem. The furnace came back to life and I escaped turning into a popsicle in my own home. My gratitude to Thomas for being accessible on a weekend and for Kenton for understanding the innards of my York furnace and quickly diagnosing the problem. My AC stopped working on the most humid day of the year, and though they were busy they got to me the same day. The problem was detected instantly and they were in and out quickly. My AC works again! Thank you to the team at Reliable Heating and Cooling for swiftly getting to me. Lisa scheduled us and Dan came within a few hours of my phone call. I'm so impressed! Chase and Armondo did an amazing job installing out furnace. They were on time, quick, and professional. Reliable went above and beyond for us to get us a new blower fan after our went out right before Christmas. They were able to find a temporary replacement so that we didn't have to go without heat for two weeks while the home warranty company we were working with kept giving us the run around to get our claim covered. They were able to get us and install a new furnace within two days after getting the claim covered with the home warranty company. I definitely recommend Reliable they were so empathic and were honestly the best customer service and the best company we have had to work with ever.

We got introduced to Reliable when our electrician used them to install our whole-house generator. Based on their work and recommendation from our electrician, we switched to Reliable. Glad we did - an AC problem occurred and they were out the next day to troubleshoot and identified the problem. Note: When I called for service at 9pm, the mailbox was full. Within 5 minutes, I had a text message from Kenton and service was scheduled for the next day. Great customer service from the entire team.

Great people! We had them install a new AC unit after our old one failed. Pricing was extremely fair and they had everything replaced in no time. Lisa was even kind enough to follow up to make sure we were happy with everything. Could not be happier! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of AC or furnace work.

Lisa in the office was so friendly when I called to schedule a furnace tuned up and also to inquire about installing a humidifier. It was very nice to chit chat to build a friendly rapport and have a few laughs! Chase was the one who did the work and he was so kind and friendly! Kenton and Lisa are very professional, yet down to earth people to work with. After getting several estimates from other companies and lots of different opinions, Kenton came in and offered a great bid and knew exactly what to do. The install had a couple hiccups, but they took care of everything and went above and beyond. They are truly a great company to work with. You won’t be disappointed!
