Adkisson Air 1 Heating and Cooling Autumn Glo Fireplaces

We have used Adkisson for our furnace and AC maintenance since we bought our house many years ago. They installed our new furnace and AC 3 years ago and do a great job maintaining our units. Kevin is always friendly and helpful when he comes out and the whole staff is quick to reply to messages or concerns. Would recommend to anyone.

Had to write a review after what happened to my family member today with this company…

The technicians came out to work on the furnace in the basement around 8 am. The work they had to do required welding. A few hours after beginning work my sisters carbon monoxide detector began alarming. They called the fire department who confirmed an unsafe CO level that was quickly rising and had everyone (including her pets) evacuate the house while they ventilated it. They determined whatever equipment was being used to weld cause the CO since no ventilation was being used. They were instructed how to ventilate it so they could safely finish the job. They stated they would. Fast forward to 5:30, the CO detectors again went off and the fire department was called. When the HVAC techs realized the fire department was coming they began scrambling to set up the ventilation. Meaning they continued to weld with no ventilation, KNOWING it was filling the house with CO. The owner came out and apologized and offered to knock $100 off and stated he was sorry and he “has some training to do”. “Fixed right or it’s free” written all over their trucks, but apparently knowingly filling a families home with lethal gas is considered fixing it right.
Had they not had CO detectors, this could have killed my sister and her family.
Not even mentioning the fact that they had to evacuate their house (with two dogs who they ended up taking to dog daycare because of it) twice on a 95 degree day.

Just completely unacceptable and I don’t think the owner realizes the gravity of what happened today.

Highly recommend Air 1, had an issue with the condenser and owner made sure that we had the part quickly and the part was affordable. Installed without an issue and air conditioner working great once again! Thank you!

As always, we had an excellent experience with Joe as our service tech. He completed our annual fall furnace and furnace humidifier maintenance, and cleaned and inspected our two gas fireplaces. He is friendly, courteous, and does his work well.

Joe arrived on time and immediately fixed the issue with my gas fireplace resulting from a recent power outage. Joe went above and beyond when he also noticed my logs were not installed correctly. A number of other important checks and adjustments were performed giving me a lot of comfort. Thank you Joe!!

Adkisson Air 1 takes care of my furnace and AC. They did such a great job that I bought a gas fireplace to replace my wood burner. So professional, clean, prompt and courteous. They laid drop cloths and when they were done, it was clean and I had the fire going. So impressed with this company and every employee I have met there. Joe really knows his stuff. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this company! Our AC went out and they were out at 8am the next morning and fixed it for us. Very professional and on time and fixed the issue. Will definitely use them again!
