Pro-Tech Heating & Cooling

Excellent service. Weekend emergency visit. Very polite, walked me through what the problem was and my options were and cost. Were not pushy. Never done business with this company but will differently use them for anything else when it comes to heating and cooling. The young man who came to fix my heating problem was very knowledgeable. Thank you Pro-Tech Heating and Cooling.

We used Pro-Tech to investigate a heating/cooling issue at a property. I ended up paying $200 for them just to pull in the driveway. The cost was inflated due to being outside normal business hours, which I have no issue with. Pro-Tech was unable to diagnose the issue while on-site and left after an hour. Less than 12 hours later, the furnace was broken again. After speaking with their services manager, Justin, he informed me that my company would have to pay another $100 for them to just to visit the property and attempt to diagnose the issue again. This is insane, ProTech wanted me to pay AGAIN after their tech failed to fix the furnace issue the first time. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a heating/cooling business in Grand Rapids. I will under no circumstances ever work with this company again.

Zach is an amazing tech. Professional, personable, and a pleasure to have in your home. Zack takes the time to explain things that wouldn't make sense unless you work in the field. 10/10 would highly recommend!

I have used Pro-Tech a couple times and they are all very professional and masters at their crafts. Extremely honest and professional. I look forward to using them in the future. Great website too where you can make payments!

Not a good experience. We were told we would not have to pay for a part if it didn't fix our furnace. Even though we thought the problem was the gas valve, the tech thought it was the igniter module board - a $485 part plus labor. Turns out it was the gas valve. Not only did we not get the part refund, they won't return our phone calls.
My advice, shop around. We found significantly better prices elsewhere.

I’m very pleased with the Amana gas furnace, but also with the top quality installation. Jake and his helper were very thorough and communicated well. Plus, they cleaned up nicely at the end. I’m very happy with the ProTech experience.

They were absolutely amazing! Came out immediately, very thorough inspection, and great install. They arranged every step of the way and made a stressful situation much easier to get through. Would highly recommend!

Zach did a fantastic job. Very thorough. He answered all my questions and concerns. Even offered suggestions on helping my furnace run better. He was very polite and kind. I went with Pro Tech because of the DTE furnace tune up rebate program. I called several other companies they were far the BEST priced. The others were ridiculously priced way higher. I definitely would recommend.

I miss getting their names but the team that work my furnace on Pine island Dr Ne, are awesome really friendly nice to talk to, very profesional and detailing. Fast service and they take the time and patience to explain you everything, even what I need to do on my side to keep it running like it should. Cold is here and my furnace/heater decided to die, they came really fast and even fix a leak in my boiler that I didn’t even though about it.Really polite kind and good vibes technician’s, I have social anxiety and this gentleman’s make me feel like I been knowing them my whole life really cool to be around them,will definitely recommend and use their services again from now on. Thank you so much!!!!!

Everyone was completely professional. Installers new their job well, replacement was done quickly and to perfection, highly recommend this company will use them again.
