Godwin Heating & Cooling

Had a faulty wall furnace installed by Godwin and after several attempts to repair the product, we were given weak excuses and unfavorable solutions around replacement of the unit. The service techs that were sent out multiple times were WONDERFUL and professional people. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the sales agent Rob Hileski. Incredibly condescending to my mother, incompetent as many salesman are, and should be in a different field of work. The solutions offered by Rob were simply lazy. For context, the original unit Rob sold us did not fit space because he did not take measurements during the quote. We were then provided with a different that was "a bit beat up" and turned out to be faulty. The unit needs to be replaced with either the same model number (which he claims is unavailable but can be purchased online from various vendors with a simple Google search) or a taller unit, to which he claims the ventilation elbows cannot be adjusted to accommodate. Any fabricator could put together new ventilation piping that fits the specifications of a slightly taller unit. His only remaining solution was to install a much shorter but wider unit into a space that is tight on floor space as it is. I really wish I could leave a better review but one rotten apple has spoiled the bunch in this case. I'll unfortunately be left without heat during a snow storm while we search for a company that offers real solutions and goes the extra mile for their customers. Again, the service techs were incredible but I really wish we could have worked with a different salesman!

I needed a new water heater and I'm very happy I called Godwin Plumbing. I received great service from start to finish. The employees who answered the phone making the appointment and with the installation guys. Everyone did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this company.

So easy to work with and helpful in understanding how HVAC works. Loved the suggestion of keeping my fan running in order to use the "free" cold air in the basement.

Godwin's techs are very qualified and have done a great job maintaining our heating system since they installed it 7 years ago.

I needed three exterior door locks and a deadbolt with one key fit. Went to Do it Best Center at Godwin Hardware. They set me up with nice quality nice looking Hardware. And it was the Holiday season. They had it all set within a reasonable amount of time. All the hardware works great! Very impressed 👍 ask for Joe😁

10/10 would recommend Godwin heating and cooling. They are so honest, fair & reliable. Russ was so friendly & got my furnace working then explained exactly what happened and what was repaired- he also was very sweet to my dogs. Their prices are incredibly fair and I will always use them moving forward for my heating & cooling needs.

Our HVAC system was 22 years old and it was all starting to break down. We called multiple people for quotes and because of our split level home layout, everyone said they wouldn't be able to install a high efficiency furnace. Not Godwin. Rob was helpful in creating a solution. He took his time educating us and explaining the entire process. On the day of the install there was an issue with the venting for the furnace. But still instead of throwing in the towel, Len didn't give up and came up with a way to make it all happen. Len installed a 96% furnace, whole home humidifier, 16 SEER AC, and 40 Gallon water heater in 1.5 days. Not to mention the extensive problem solving and rerouting of things to be able to vent the high efficiency furnace. Rob checked in regularly as the process went along. When the job was complete Len walked us through everything again. What he did, why it matters, what to look out for, and so much more.

Excellent Service, extremely knowledgable, great communication and a very, very fair value. I can't recommend Godwin enough. Hands down the best experience I've ever had.

From start to finish we found Godwin employees to be prompt, professional, and friendly. They didn't just do the work, but also gave us the knowledge we'd need to get the most out of our unit and maintain it well. Will definitely be returning to Godwin for future work.

Extremely unsatisfied with their service. We got a brand new furnace and AC last fall and although the material is good quality, the service was terrible. They made marks on our walls, didn't caulk properly outside, left purple stains on our sidings, moved our small propane tank and didn't put it back, the thermostat they installed was crooked etc. They came back again this week to change the circuit board on the furnace to be proactive about potential issues, which is great except that they broke our light bulb socket downstairs. They pulled the bead string so hard that it stayed in their hands and never told us about it. In the end we couldn't turn off the light anymore. It's not so much the fact that they screw up, it's also that every time they do, they let us find out. We are done with them. Save yourself sometime and find a different service provider.
