My air conditioning unit stopped working. I called Mechanical Heating and Cooling and got an appointment for 2 days later. The office staff is pleasant, patient and responsive. My technician, Phillip R. Was on time, informative and thorough. I recommend the company and Phillip for your HVAC needs.

Kris was our service man and he had the heat working within minutes of arriving after two other so called furnace repair people said it couldn’t be fixed and that we needed a new furnace. Mechanical Heating & Cooling recently installed a new furnace and air conditioner at our home. Joel met with us to estimate the project. He was a very good reflection of the professional manner in which this company does business. Joel’s all around experience in the heating and cooling field was a real advantage; he was able to recommend equipment that would be a good match for our needs and wants. When he left our house we knew exactly what we would be getting for our money. We had another estimate by another local, larger heating company. It was a bit less cost, yet we were left confused as to exactly what was included. The decision to go with Mechanical was an easy one.
Installers Mike & Ryan were awesome. This "dynamic duo" know their job well, are hard workers, and are a good reflection of their company with their positive energy. They kept us aware what was happening as the old furnace came out, and the new furnace equipment and air conditioner unit were explained as they went in. They answered our many questions as they went along, and gave us thorough training on maintenance of the system and how to manage the thermostat before they left us. Overall we had a very good experience with Mechanical Heating & Cooling and would highly recommend.

Very nice technician, and customer service has always been great here - whether scheduling an appointment or speaking with the technician. I also like receiving reminders via text and how they immediately email copies of invoices and performance checks. Top notch all around and will continue to recommend to family and friends. I had the service team come out on 7/2 to look at my ductless system that was installed improperly. I was told that it would probably be cheaper to just replace it. So I scheduled to have someone come out on 7/9 to go over what would work best for my home, central air or ductless system. Someone came out looked at what I had and stated that he could give me as many estimates I wanted to figure out what would be best. He recommended central air and the ductless system due to an addition to my home and the issue of extreme cold and heat temperatures upstairs. I was told I would receive my estimates by the end of the day. I waited until a couple business days later to call on 7/14, because I hadn't received anything. Waited another few days and called again because I still hadn't received it. Finally on 7/20 I was emailed one estimate that only included central air and furnace replacement. Nothing about the ductless system repair or replacement was included. I emailed back and informed them of this, nothing. I email again on 7/23 and again no reply, nothing.I called on 7/26 and was told they would have Josh call me, nothing. I called again today and was told the same thing. I politely told them I keep being told the same thing. I was told by Rachel that unfortunately she doesn't have control over him and isn't his keeper. I know she felt bad but that isn't something a customer wants to hear. So I asked to speak to his supervisor and was told she would email them and Josh again to call me tomorrow because it was close to closing time. I was very impressed initially by the response, timelines, and professionalism. But it's like all they wanted was my $99 and not to actually do the work. I'll update this if this is rectified.

*Update* I did not receive a call today but did receive a text with the arrival of my estimate. During the initial visit I was asked how much I had paid for the improperly installed system. I told him the amount and was told I was overcharged. I was told I could get central air installed for what I paid and still save money. Needless to say the estimates I received are 3-4k HIGHER than what I was charged for the previous installation. Lol
Integrity matters. The search continues. Smh

**Response.. Respectfully, You were not present when Josh came and during our conversation. He specifically told me that I could have a new central air system installed for cheaper than what I paid for my mini splits. I'm not mistaken as to what I was told. I totally understand the pricing, this just isn't what I was told. Also if there was an issue with him giving me the estimates that he told me that he could do then that should have been communicated in the beginning without me having to call multiple times and being told oh we'll have it sent right over or we'll have Josh call you.
