I do not recommend this company unless you like to throw money out the window! I have had nothing but problems with them ever since they put in a water heater for me 2 years ago. They had to put a whole new water heater in and that still didn't fix the problem so now they want to charge me $100 to come look at my water heater again. I already paid 1500 for a new water heater. No one should have this many problems with a water heater in a 2 year span!!

On June 30th, I had a service call. The technician Luke examined my A/C unit and told me I needed a capacitator. The total cost would be over $300. He adds the capacitator and then proceeds to tell me that I need a new motor also. The final cost was $768. I was not given a breakdown of the costs in my bill. I called the office and was told that Schaafsma is a flat rate company and they really could not give me a breakdown of parts and labor.I was flabbergasted!!! I feel like I have been given the Schaftsma!!
I would not recommend this company at all!!!!!!

I am not sure what to think about this company. Had them out to
give an estimate on a repair for furnace. Woman on phone said they could not give estimates without looking at unit. Never said anything about a charge. They had already diagnosed the problem from a previous visit.

He told me what he thought was wrong with the unit, and how much it would cost. 4-500$. He also stated that it might not
fix the unit, and that I would still be obligated to pay. Well I thought if you really do not know what is wrong with it, should you be working on it?? Gave me the feeling they did not know what they were doing. So I did not hire them to do the job, so before he left he made me pay a service fee of 120$. Not sure what others think, but does not sound right to me.

Would not recommend.

Today I had Drew from Schaafsma over for a 2nd opinion as another local company was out for an AC check last week & said I needed an entire new system or $6600 in repairs. The Bryant system in my house is 10 years old & it's been well maintained. Drew checked everything out & in short there's nothing wrong with my HVAC system. I'll never use another company again. Can't thank Schaafsma or Drew enough.

Schaafsma saved me a ton of money. I had another company come out and they misdiagnosed the issue with my central air. They quoted me $1100-1500 to fix it. I said no, and wanted a second opinion. Schaafsma came out quickly, correctly identified the problem, determined the part needed was still under warranty, and fixed it for $239 total! I am a customer for life.

Lukas serviced our A/C today because it was shutting off inappropriately. We have a geothermal thermal system. He quickly figured it out and reset the tank temp. He even made friends with our dog.
