We called Absotemp for our heating and cooling needs and received great service. Matt and Terry were very professional and helpful in explaining how they work and the general upkeep. Everything was clean when they left. Just an overall great experience. Thank you Donna and Terry Hamby

Received excellent service same day due to my AC unit going out. Matt was able to come out, identify the issue, answer all of my questions, and fix my unit within a timely manner.

Tom explained to us what was wrong with our furnace and fixed the problem right away. He came the day that we called him. He was very friendly. He does quality work. And he has good prices. We will definitely be calling Tom for any future repairs.

We had issues with our air and called them to take a look at the problem. Matt, the owner, came out and took a look at our system. He wrote a few things down for me, and left after about 15 minutes. He charged me 179.00 for those 15 minutes.

When I looked at the invoice, there was a charge for $80.00 diagnostic, and a $99.00 mysterious charge that he wrote on the invoice. I asked what the charge was for (because it was written under the "tax" portion of the invoice). He said that it was a trip charge. I asked what the difference between the 2 charges was, and he could not give me an answer that made any sense.

I was upset about the charge, called him back, and he agreed to refund some of my money, so I only ended up paying $99.00 for the trip. Still high compared to their competitors, but at least somewhat reasonable for 15 minutes of work. If not for him returning at least part of my money, I would have given a single star.

I felt like the whole time he was there, he was simply trying to get me to buy a new furnace, and didn't care about repairing my old one. He said that there was some "R & R Contactor" that needed to be replaced and quoted $290 to fix it, and that I would also need a tune up for $150, and I would also likely need to fill it with new refrigerant for $300 - $400 in addition to all of that.

I had a competitor take a look. They came out to look at it for $70 and that included an AC Tune up (this is $250 cheaper than what Absotemp charged for the same thing). They also said that their price to fix the part would be over $100 cheaper. But I didn't need to fix the part, because it was not broken. This competitor was able to tell me that all I needed was some refrigerant. He also laid out the costs and benefits of replacing the Unit so I could make a decision on what I wanted to do. I had him fix it and it works great now.

I will NOT be using Absotemp in the future.

Matt's parts and service charge were 1.5 to 2x higher than others when I checked around. Also he was more interested in selling us a new furnace than fixing our old one. He made us sit in our cold house and listen to his sales pitch before he would fix the old one.

Air conditioning died today. Absotemp was the only one of 50 calls that said they would come out. I have a double ear infection snd asthma. After working all day in the 96 degree heat he was at my door at 9:45 pm as promised. I was shocked he even showed up. When I talked to him about 6 pm he said he promised to come and he did. Very highly recommend integrity says it all

The crew was great! I called with a problem and within 2 hours Terry was out here checking my AC letting me know what the problem was. And within 2 days I had a new unit pushing out some nice cold air for my family and I. Definitely the go to place if you're having any AC problems!

We have been using Absotemp for years. They are quick and efficient. This is extremely important during emergency situations. Our mother is elderly and relies on heat, most of the year! They do great work and the technicians are nice and reliable.

My furnace blower fan stopped working. Absotemp replaced the fan in a few hours after showing up to my house. They were quick and professional. I would recommend them.

99 bucks to show up is very fare, no problems there. $279 to spend 10 minutes installing an ignitor which is 20 bucks his cost, maybe $40 to the customer price is high, very high. AND he won't change that without a $140 charge to clean the furnace first (Compressed air and vacumn cleaner combo another 10-20 minutes maybe). Also spent time trying to sell a new furnace.
Paid the 99 bucks and said no thank you. So does he do good work, I would say probably. If you have no idea what a reasonable charge for services rendered are, you may be very happy. But $658 for a 10 minute job and a $22 part, the original OEM branded part not an off-brand which is only $10 ( I realize he has to mark up the part to like 60 or 70, but sheez!).
Talked with a neighbor who also had an ignitor changed recently, and they paid just under $200 service call included. Way more reasonable.
What I will give him is he was available same day, where others were a day or two out. Second star for that, and the reasonable $99 show up fee. If your stuck and money is no object, I am sure you will be fine.
