I cannot even begin to express how great Ed, Carrie and the rest of the team were with our full home HVAC system install. Ed was competitive in pricing and truly showed he cared about the project and our home. We felt confident taking his advice at every turn, they were always on time for scheduled work and efficient in their install. We have been using North Wind for all of our Heating & Air Conditioning services since 1996 when we bought our first house. Ed and Carrie are the best. They always take good care of us and get us a great price. We have never even considered using anyone else. They are extremely honest, dependable and very knowledgeable.

Came back from Thanksgiving to a house with no heat on Saturday. Called North Wind and left a message. Returned our call within 15 minutes after thinking we would have to wait until Monday. Owner, Ed, was at our house within 45 minutes. Needed a new furnace. Told us we would have temporary heat on Sunday. Ed and his crew were at the house promptly on Sunday and installed our new furnace and ac. Had heat within two hours. Very fair price and the nicest people! Highly recommend.

I cant say enough great things about North Wind Heating and Air. I called them on a hot summer day because our Air at our condo went out. They had someone out the same day. They were very professional when they arrived. Unfortunately, the 14 year old heater/air conditioner had to be replaced. We have a strange unit, but they were still able to find me a replacement. Next day they were out installing it. They brought 3 people so the process was quick and we were back to a cool condo quickly. When i shared the price with my neighbor they were amazed at the cost savings i got by going through North Wind compared to the person they went through.

I can tell you as I have had Ed and his team install 2 furnaces in both of my houses and he matches exactly what you need to your home and the difference is amazing. This is my second experience with North Wind. A couple years ago they replaced my failing furnace in my previous condo. The job was well done, and was quick, back with heat in no time. Since then I moved, this time the heat exchanger on my 35 year old furnace was leaking, again Ed and the crew came out and made quick work of it! This time I opted for a high efficiency furnace. All in all both experiences were great! Thanks!

North-Wind was by far the right choice to replace my AC unit.
When I built my house, I had a heat plan done which indicated the tonnage for my AC unit. It called for a 3.5 ton unit. I had limited AC this year and the coil inside was freezing up and I and water all over the floor.
I had another company out and they added 4 lbs of refrigerant costing $450. The guy said that I needed a 4.5 to 5 ton AC unit. Needless to say, I was surprised. Well, my AC went out a few days later and a friend referred me to North-Wind. I called them and scheduled an appointment. Ed, the owner, came out personally and let me know that there were tons of mistakes made when I had the original unit installed, including undersized duct work, inadequate air returns, closed vents on the duct work. We talked for about 30 minutes and he explained where I had issues and what was needed to fix them. Oh, and this is important, Ed does HVAC inspections! They also design systems based on the needs of the house, not just a heat plan. Of all the people that I talked to, Ed was the only one who mentioned certain calculations that are included in a heat plan.

He never tried to oversell me as far as the AC tonnage was concerned because the existing duct work could not handle it. I agreed to replace the unit and his team. yes, team, came out the next morning. Within hours, I was up and running with nice cold air again. The system has been working perfectly and I have to say it gets cold in my house!

I also have an office above my garage (we all know how hot garages can be and the fact that heat rises). My office is now comfortable and I don't need 2 fans running at full speed.

WOW! AWESOME! These are the words to describe the experience I had with North-Wind. My AC died on Sunday, I called Northwind as my 4th call on Monday, I spoke with Carrie, she was very friendly and helpful, she educated me and was willing to give a quote over the phone. After walking me through the products and prices she had her husband Ed to my house by noon for measurements. Not only was their price the most competitive, Ed and Carrie had their team at my house at 8AM on Tuesday and had the work completed by Noon. From Carrie and Ed to the installation team they were all friendly, extremely professional, meticulous, I could not ask for more as a customer! North-Wind is my HVAC company Choice for good!
