We have hired Ed and his crew from North Wind Heating & Air to replace our furnace in 2 of our homes now. He is very professional, gives a no nonsense quote, arrives on time, cleans up afterwards and is a really nice person to deal with! We highly recommend him and his crew. Our furnace stopped working the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We have always used North Wind Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in the past. Despite the holiday weekend, Ed Szajna, the owner personally came out to assess the problem. He works weekends and holidays so that his dependable crew can have a break! What a great boss!. He was able to get our furnace working temporarily, but we scheduled a new furnace installation ASAP as our furnace was over 30 years old and could stop any day as well as safety issues if we prolonged it. Ed and his crew were efficient, knowledgable, and very neat! Ed and his team also saved us many years ago when we had damage to our air conditioner due to a severe storm! Once again, they were here quickly as needed and educated us on his products and the installation went perfect! I would highly recommend North Wind Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. as Ed and his wife Carrie have been in business since 1991 and they are extremely knowledgeable! I have used this company twice. They were able to service my air conditioner the first time, installed a new air conditioner on the 2nd visit. I was in the market for furnace, complete A/C system and a hot water heater. North Wind was quick to respond when contacted, and also to come out to make (and explain) a complete assessment of my house's particulars. I was impressed with the thoroughness, and an estimate followed very soon. Ed had been recommended by a trusted friend, so I was ready to install. The work was completed in one day, and very much to my liking. The new, modern equipment is a real upgrade, and I look forward to the winter to experience the new furnace features.

This was a great experience. We got a number of quotes and the honesty and practicality of the discussion with North Wind was refreshing. The owner talked about options available and what features were worth spending our money on...he actually talked us out the the latest high end spec'd equipment--as it was unnecessary. His comment was that he wanted to do the job at our house just like he would do it at his house. The work was done in a VERY timely manner, very neat, and very polite--our furnace and A/C install was finished in about a half a day. We used North Wind for 2 repairs on our A/C over the last 2 years before replacing the furnace and A/C this year. They were one of the only ones that were able to come out quickly and repair the A/C, with minimal downtime for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ed and North Wind for either service or new install. We are very happy with the work and the product they installed.

Our AC went out & they helped us in the middle of a heat wave, driving all the way from Clinton Township to Holly & getting us a new high efficiency furnace & AC, in our budget, installed within a week during the busiest summer they've probably had in a while. Our furnace went out during the hottest days of the year which also meant that our A/C was also out. After contacting them on the weekend I received a call back the same day and they scheduled the appointment for Monday at 8:00. They were here on time and were very professional. They then came the next day to install the unit, again on time and professional. They put down drop clothes to protect the carpet and were in and out quicker than promised. The whole team from the office staff to the installers were really great to work with.

North Wind was incredibly professional, great customer service and trustworthy. They did an excellent job installing our new furnace and air conditioner along with relocating our air conditioner. They also went out of their way to assist us in finding an odd sized vent cover and dropped it off for us. Just really great guys who make sure to provide top quality work.
