I had my annual heating maintenance done by Koch & White and I had a great experience. Jarrett came out and did all of the "normal" maintenance checks, but he really took his time to help me understand how to better take care of my furnace (so that it lasts longer). He also helped me order the correct size furnace filters and he explained the importance & timeline of getting my air conditioner checked in the Spring. I really appreciate his time and attention to the details. I will most definitely continue to use and recommend them!

I called K&W regarding a pungent smell coming out of the furnace exhaust suspecting a secondary heat exchanger failure. They were able to send a tech within 1 hour of my initial call. Zach thoroughly inspected the furnace and confirmed the exchanger failure. He explained my options and we decided to go with the replacement of the heat exchanger. The next day they called me and told me that they received the part and would be able to install it today. The installation went smoothly and took about 4 hours. In addition to the furnace, Zach noticed an improperly installed water heater vent and offered to fix it. He takes pride in his work and is committed to doing everything with the best quality possible. Looking at his work, I notice that every pipe is correctly supported, every gromet is properly installed, every seal is neat, the workplace is cleaned up, etc. Zach also took his time to answer several questions regarding maintenance and common problems with my furnace. I am very happy with the experience and from now on will call K&W for all my HVAC issues.

I use Koch and White because of their excellent customer service. Even knowing that, I am continually impressed with their service. It was the cold of winter and I had a broken furnace (I am sure a very busy time for them), and Rose Mary was able to find time in their service schedule to have a tech help us the same day. The tech, Jarrett, was great. He took the time to explain to my husband and me what part was broken, how it operated in the furnace and why it was needed. He did not talk down to us, but he also did not speak too "techy" to us. We both came away with a clear understanding of the situation. He was fast (but not rushed), efficient, on-time and professional. I have and will continue to recommend K&W for heating and cooling services.

Unbeatable professionalism and quality. They deduced what was broken and why, they helped me learn about the furnace, they managed my expectations along the way, they were patient, kind, and generous people, and they did really excellent work. This is how you stay in business for 85+ years. A great example to anyone who works with the public. I'm looking forward to having them out every year to clean and maintain my furnace and ac.

We recently moved into our home and inherited an old olive green ac unit. AC unit worked but ran constantly. Called Koch heating and cooling to schedule an appointment to have the AC serviced. They were able to come out the same day within 2 hours of my call. Andy was very knowledgeable and professional and was able to finish the job quickly. Best part was that their prices were very reasonable! I will definitely use them again in the future!

I've been very pleased with my experience with Koch & White. They serviced my A/C unit a few years ago and more recently checked out my furnace, which ended up needing a part replaced. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. In the latter case, the replacement was covered by warranty. Out of curiosity, I asked for a quote from another company and their estimate was over 3x the amount K&W was charging. During the replacement itself, the tech took the time to explain what had happened and what to keep an eye out for in case any further issues developed.

I tend to be suspicious of glowing reviews, but I honestly can't recommend them enough.

Tried to double charge - not impressed.

Last summer I hired a contractor to disconnect our AC so we could landscape the E side of our house. He didn’t think it was necessary to remove moisture with N2 when reconnecting so we hired Koch & White for the reconnect. I called ahead, explained our situation and was quoted $350. On the day, 2 technicians showed up and after the simplest of reconnects with zero issues and zero troubleshooting they attempted to double charge and bill me $700. I was completely shocked and couldn’t believe the blatant attempt to rip me off. I refused to pay and after a lengthy call with their supervisor (who wasn’t the nicest of chaps) they eventually reduced my bill to $400. The technician who stayed behind for payment looked so sheepish and embarrassed he was practically tearing up. Koch&White are supposed to be a reputable local community business. This type of behavior really is shameful.

If communication and honesty are important to you, reach out to Koch and White for any heating and cooling service! They are reliable, reasonable and most importantly solve problems and issues. From management to scheduling and billing they are wonderful people to work with their customer service is far superior to other companies we have worked with in the industry.

Regular service and certification performed on rental condo furnace in April '21. While work was well-done (hence 2 stars) and cert sticker on unit was signed and dated, contractor did not complete Pittsfield Twp cert form which we apparently require to operate rental. We called Koch and White in August after Twp requested form. We were told they cannot provide form for April service and offered to charge us for another identical service plus the cert fee. After speaking to a second person, they offered to half the service fee. I'm unable to understand why we cannot receive all of what we paid for in April.
We will not seek services from Koch and White in the future.

As a first time homeowner, when my air conditioning unit in my townhouse stopped working I had little knowledge of where to turn. Koch & White was extremely professional, they came out right away to assess the situation. After discovering the issue could not be fixed the technician discussed options for a new unit. I was able to schedule an installation time quickly, and when a sooner installation date became available the company called and let me move up my install date. They even rewired my furnace for me after they discovered a major wiring error, something a different company had installed incorrectly!

Throughout the process everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous, they even refunded me when a paperwork error resulted in me not receiving my 2% discount! I had many questions throughout the process and they answered every one of them.
