Excellent on all fronts. We have oil delivered from ckSmith and have never had an issue. Customer service is best in class. They can deliver in a pinch, if needed! Also, we had a furnace put in with them and it was a great process. Painless.

I have used the same oil supplier for almost 35 years---in two different locations. Despite their changes and mine, I have always received courteous service. I recently bought a new furnace (which they installed) so I haven't had the Friday night service calls when it was cold and the furnace wasn't working that I used to have. Always they came promptly. I am having my furnace cleaned July 1st and I know I will receive the same courteous service from a competent provider. They may cost a few pennies more but they are worth every cent.

Having moved into our new home in Auburn last spring, we chose ck Smith Superior over other providers due to their very full and comprehensive service plans. Like any type of insurance, or warrantee you hope you never need it, but if you do it should meet your expectations. This Christmas night with our family over our heat went out, we called in explaining our issue, asking if someone could possibly come out to check it in the morning. The technician insisted that it wasn’t a problem at all to come out even on Christmas night. In very short order he arrived, replacing a fan motor and had our system up and operational again. We’re very appreciative, our expectations surpassed, anyone can sell you a service plan but this team really follows through and obviously values their customers. Thanks for the truly Superior service, we feel we've made the right choice for our family. - Bob C.

do not use these guys for service. They charged my tenants $440 claiming they needed a new nozzle, cad cell, and of course a new controller, 1 1/2 of labor. If they simply checked the pump strainer $5 part they would have know in 10 min the unit was not getting the proper fuel. Plus they called back to tell me they would have to replace that controller with another one since it doesn’t do A/C, another $250. The unit stopped working again the next day. I replace the filter myself and hooked up the “broken” unit and guess what, it works. Any technician would have checked the filter first. They credited me back for the controller but told me they were taking a hit because it’s now used. They are a joke and the service manager just adds to the problem.

Follow up: 2/19 appreciate the response and the credit back for the labor. I will let my tenants know. I wasn’t asking for it all back but what I felt was appropriate for the work that should have been done, which was the point of our discussion. This residence has been a customer since 2004, as my primary home and rental recently.

Over this past winter, we had two issues arise with our furnace. Ck smith’s customer service reps dispatched help for us promptly. When it was determined our furnace was on its last limb, their sales team visited us to discuss options for a new heating system. This spring, we took the plunge and upgraded our heating system, hot water tank and fuel tank and were guided every step of the way by their company. Our purchase is already saving us money and we couldn’t be happier!

Jim, the technician who performed service on my boiler, was great. After learning that we just moved into the house and that we were new to oil heat, Jim took his time explaining the boiler, it's parts, and tips for troubleshooting problems. He was patient with me, the inspection was thorough, and Jim was very clear in all of his explanations. Before he left, Jim made sure I was comfortable with the boiler and that all my questions had been answered.
