My elderly friend has been giving the runaround on her getting her heater fix in her condo. All they do is ring up the bill and don t fix anything. Scammers!!!!!

We spent over $50K with these guys and they incorrectly installed our system. Many problems. If you're installing a Mitsubishi system, get a Diamond Elite contractor. Your warranty will be longer and you'll get the work done right. These guys don't care; just want to bill you; never get to root cause of problems.

Worst Customer service ever!! My 80 year old mother has been using this company for her AC startup and shutdown for over 10 years. She called for her spring startup appointment because they did not contact her. They have always had her scheduled twice a year for service. The woman who answered the phone told her she was too late to have the service done as they only do that in April/early May. My mother told her that she was never contacted for appt and wanted them to come out now, mid May. She was rudely told that they would not do that. The woman lied, saying that she tried to call her numerous times and there was no answering machine. This is an outright lie. I assume this lazy incompetent employee lied because she probably called once and it was busy and never tried again. She also could have sent an email or a letter asking my elderly mother to call to schedule an appointment. My mother called back twice to ask for the supervisor and was rudely told by the same woman there was none available. The woman told her she would have the supervisor call her back AND NO ONE EVER DID! Shame on you for being too lazy to do your job and for being so rude to an elderly woman! Ace Temperature Control has lost a loyal customer! I will never recommend this company to anyone.

They provided me with awful service. I own an apartment; the technician diagnosed the incorrect compressor. They billed me 3 hours of labor to diagnose a bad fan motor on someone else’s HVAC system.

First, I called and complained: “It doesn’t take 3 hours to diagnose a bad fan motor.” The manager, Sharlyne, called back the next business day and charged me for 1 hour instead. Sharlyne had an attitude and said: “You or I aren’t an HVAC tech...you don’t know how long it could take to diagnose a bad fan motor.” I’m an engineer and well informed on how long troubleshooting a fan compressor takes -anyways Sharlyne was rude.

I went with a different company next and they informed me the prior company, Ace Temperature Control, incorrectly labeled the wrong HVAC unit and performed work on a system that wasn’t mine.

I called Ace Temperature Control to get my refund and they haven’t granted me a refund or admitted they were at fault. This is very embarrassing for them as professionals and bad for me as a customer. I asked Ace to provide me a serial number for the unit the worked on, and it was in-fact the wrong unit. Still waiting for $ 175 back into my account for a bad job they did.

I had an issue with a heating unit in my house which at least 3 other companies had looked at and weren't able to fix. I called Ace Temperature Control and they were able to fix it for me when a few others couldn't. They are prompt, reliable and very courteous. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Please bewarned! Don't be fooled by nice ladies picking up the phone. This company has gotten me BEYOND upset.

I called for service at my uncle's shop.(He doesn't speak english well)
The nice lady that picked up the phone was very polite. (AGAIN DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS)
The technician came by couple days later. Said the FUSE was blown. then he charged more than 300 dollars for a tiny part that literally took him 15 20 minute to install.( He had to travel to get the fuse which took 45~50 min and this time was included in his "labor" time but note this, my uncle's shop is 10 minutes away from their company)
If this was end of the story I wouldn't even be this angry. about a month? or month and a half later heating stopped working AGAIN. I called and a different technician came in and said it was the Thermostat that was broken.
Thermostat was in beat up shape but it was working fine. but no they blamed the thermostat. the technician somehow started the heating again and said we needed to replace the thermostat. Which I recall him saying that He would give us a call once they are in stock. I NERVER got a call back. THEN in another month. the heating STOPED WORKING. I CALLED AGAIN and the nice lady haded over the phone to some RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL men. (I think he was the manager but I could be wrong) He told me that its the thermostat issue and said that they'll charge $600 dollar for it. I was so rediculed by this guy. ( exact same model Thermostat cost 40 dollar even with labor and tax there is no way cost can add up to 600) so hearing this. we looked up how to replace thermostat. It's such a simple job. my uncle ordered one and done it himself. NOPE the heat still doesn't work. I called ONE MORE TIME and the same rude guy picked up. I told him thermostat was replaced but the heat still doesn't work and I was questioning their first repair( fuse)
This guy....LAUGHED AT ME. HE LAUGHED. because we did a DIY thermostat repair. at this point. I was just so mad and demanded him to come and fix it right. but after I calmed down I realized They will not take me nor my uncle seriously and even so they come and fix it They are going to charge us CRAZY amount. so I canceled the service and called another company. They were bogus too (this company wanted us to chage the whole unit and named a part that was broken but that part didn't even exist on the type of heater installed at the shop) THEN I CALL another place and FINALLY they fixed it right and GUESS WHAT I WAS TOLD? THE DAMN FUSE WAS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY. and HE SAID THE FUSE DOESN'T SEEM NEW AT ALL TO BEGIN WITH......
I was so blown away that people would do this. I felt humilated cheated and just so....angry.
I was and still am so beyond upset that I can't trust anyone.
and these repair costs arn't couple of dollars
It could go up to 100s and 1000s of dollars.
and as a person needing service you just don't know which company is honest and which are not.
DO YOUR RESEARCH! EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE THESE HVAC PEOPLE PICK YOUR POCKET

My call was answered quickly, staff was polite.
They sent a guy over the same day and he diagnosed our problem and fixed it in about 2-3 hours. We appreciated that with no heat all morning.
Great service and affordable, will recommend to others!

Called in April of 2019, received a quote in September of 2019 and never heard back from them again. I called at least a dozen times to schedule an installation and never received a call back. I went with McDonald heating and cooling and couldn't be happier with them. Don't waste your time on this unprofessional company.

Business that pads the time for service so they can charge you more. I called and complained and they somehow said oh it wasn't two hours it was just an hour. Had I not called they would have over charged by even more than I was charged.

CAUTIONARY TALE: I had brand new Central Air and Ductless Split systems installed in April of 2019 by Ace. We chose them mainly for the price, but they also seemed professional during our meetings and had decent reviews.

Our AC stopped working on the FIRST hot day of 2019. Ace came out reluctantly after the woman who answers the phone was extremely rude and insisting that we would have to pay the weekend premium for a service call.

As soon as the tech looked, he diagnosed that the installers had the drain pitched back into the Air Handler. Yes, the licensed HVAC installers had the drain dumping water back into the AC instead of outside.

The tech was apologetic and acknowledged that the installers had screwed up the drain. He must have fixed the drain without checking the pitch of the rest of the unit.

Fast forward to December of 2020 after the AC system had been off for over 2 months, water started POURING out of my ducts. We called Ace, and again the woman who answers the phone was extremely rude, and they NEVER CALLED BACK.

I had a much more qualified person take a look and they determined that the entire AC Air Handler was pitched away from the drain and was filling all of my ducts with water for the last 2 cooling seasons. When he looked inside he was in disbelief and said "This is F****ed up. I've never seen this much water inside a system before" Not a good reaction when someone is looking at your 1.5 year old system.

It took significant work to clean out all of the water in the system and ducts that had frozen several times in the cold temps.

Don, the owner of Ace who chose to never call back after his employees screwed up so royally, is an unqualified hack who hires incompetent people (his family). When their shoddy work shows, they get defensive and attack the customer instead of correcting the issues they caused in the first place.

Keep shopping for someone else!
